I recently started trying evoker and I’m very much enjoying it. The biggest downside for me is the dragonform you turn into everytime you use a ‘dragon ability’. I understand it’s the race but I play it for the class / playstyle, not to turn into a dragon.
So,
please let us be able to pick whether we want to stay in visage form or not.
With transmog opening up this should be an option in my opinion.
EDIT: Since more people have posted shortsighted comments > Right now the Dracthyr is the only way to play any of the evoker classes

You should like the second point.
More Race/Class combos (MrGM)
• Plan to introduce the ability for Dracthyr to play as other classes in War Within
• Emphasis on playing in visage form
• Required animations for other classes are being actively worked on
• Unlikely to happen at launch, but targeted for early in the expansion cycle
• Commitment to implementing this feature, but by launch is uncertain
• Thematic and narrative challenges with some races as certain classes
• Uncertainty about races like Goblins or Mechagnomes as Druids
• No immediate plans for further expansion beyond Dracthyr
• Would work like an Allied Race in regards to the starting experience

Only as an option. For those of us who love the true form so that the tables wont turn around completely.
In my opinion: I just hope they keep it how it is now for evokers but rest of the classes could have less restrictions.

Yeah,
I use visage form when not in flight or combat.
Flying over mobs breathing fire over them, just wouldn’t look right in visage form.

I’m not asking for subtraction, but an addition. Rather than change how it is currently add to it and open it up to those who don’t enjoy the current aesthetic.

Is “visage form” where you can see the gear? If then, they need to make it so that that’s what is seen on character select screen.
I xmogged my alt to look sick and now i cant even see it on the character select…?

The dragon form IS the race. I am against allowing the visage being used as a combat form.

Dracthyr is born in dragon form. The fighting form should be that. I don’t mind the visage using some spells but not everything.

You can have you own story with your character but why are you against other people having a different one?
Why can I not roleplay as an Evoker with a trauma who refuses to be in dragon form? (and still be able to do content)
I just kept it simple in my dragon form
