Evoker visage form in combat PLEASE

Imo people should just pick which form they prefer. it’s not even necessary against lore.

If they do not allow this. At least give us more amor options in dragon form.

What I am also curious about are what racials they keep when playing as warrior or mage for example. Because that can be pretty insane specially in PvP.

You want races to be flying as skyriding without a mount?
Thank god these people on the forums aren’t developers, because 9/10 ideas on here are truly, truly awful.

Yeah, I don’t care about in-combat visage, but I’d care about soar. Having other races fly around would be dumb.

Mechagnomes could have wee wings pop out their back

Likely nerfed versions of tail sweep and wing buffet

I’m still mad at how badly they squandered the limitless possibilities that mechagnomes presented. Wing or jetpack for flying, rocket boosters from the legs when sprinting, maybe even have a legs option where you’d instead have tank tracks or monowheel or maybe even a hover device instead.

Same with weapons, maybe have the option to have guns built into your arms for hunters or chainswords for melee. I mean they could have gone just wild with wacky stuff on mechagnomes but instead we got one of the most lazy race they’ve ever released in this game.

I would sooner like them to think of a way to model transmog on dracthyr properly
they didn’t even bother to make the tier sets of dracthyr, at the time still a 1 class 1 race deal, full body or even match the customization gear options, while there was only 1 model to fit it too which also had no gender dysmorphia

Allowing more visage play feels like they’re doubling down on a lazy decision to halfassedly implement the race

I used to be spiritual before I started to play Evoker, then I had to realize that there is no god that would create something so foul like Drachtyr non visage form.
Thankfully I’ve collected a fair amount of toys to change character appearance so I don’t have to look at this abomination when I use Hover or an Empowered Spell.

Yup, and let me have my character as female instead of body 2.

Add the option instead of subtracting.

As an additonal option I don’t see why people are against this? Let either a General Talent or Barber Shop control this.

Keep combat completely in Visage form, but then have a few abilities where being in Visage form would make 0 sense and look odd (ie; Breath of Eons), however character will go back into visage after animation is complete. And for Hover to just be a Visage dash with the floaty cloud you get from Glide.

In a perfect world where they had art/dev time for a now technically ‘old’ hero class, would be cool to have only the wings sprout out of the visage form as an additional combat option (Like DH), and to have ALL races unlocked for Visage form, including a short quest for each to learn about the races ties with the Dragon Aspects and to learn to ‘meld into their society’

i can see it now…

Welcome to the new “EVOKER MEGATHREAD”

This thread is going to go places

Tbf nelf Worgen would be cool as the curse was originally Nelfs druids trying to gain a new form (more or less)

I agree but apparently our worgen is only the gilnean people

Easily fixable tho it would likely have to be an allied race I think. Still a cool idea imo

I remember the same requests when Worgen first came out. If those complaints back then were realized, the alliance would look so much more monotone.

The Worgen curse is that, a curse, and in battle it makes so much sense to transform into a big clawed, sharp toothed, ripped battle beast rather than another puny human.

Same for Dracthyr. They’re a dangerous experiment (even terrified the bloody Dragonflights themselves) created by none other than fooking Neltharion/Deathwing, made to protect and fight against the most powerful forces in the cosmos.
The Draconic elite defense if you will.

If he thought pretty colorful elves and humans were fit for that, they’d have fought their battles in that form, but they dont. Because they’re significantly weaker in that form in battle (not enough scales, tiny, no wings, no tail, no fangs, …) , for the same reason as worgen except they have nasty tailsweeps and wings now as well, and can breathe literal fire and other devastating breaths.

I am somewhat empathetic to your idea, but at the same time, i don’t think it’s worth the sillyness it would ensure by seeing people fight in visage. Even if they casually switch for certain spells.
What’s the logic for it? Sounds very clumsy for a Dracthyr to be like, i hate my dragon form so much, let me go through the process of visaging during battle just for those spells so i can feel beautiful. ? The Battlefield is hardly a place for that, that’s one of the reasons why it’s only out of combat you can use it.

It just doesn’t make sense for what they are created for (hardcore battle), what they trained for (Dracthyr starting isle, no one is in visage), who they represent (the dragons) and on top of that, anyone who does love the fantasy of Dracthyrs, like me, would feel their chars lore not matter when i see it’s whole lore is just a cosmetic anyone can turn on and off during fights because Blizz rather would enable people to be even more pretty elves and humans rather than have another cool battle beast/draconic race amongst the alliance.

This comment summarises my feelings on the matter as well.

It’s -pointless- lorewise and makes no sense whatsoever

I would argue that that form doesn’t have a dragon appearance.
But not only that: It has almost no transmog. It’s so boring.

It’s going to take a while to get used to you being a panda now xD
