Thats just blizzard having maade DH incredible OP in Legion when it came out…
HEck, There was even aa leggendairy neck or so for that class, you would be unkillable.

Evokers will be fine.
I don’t why people are making such a drama about them.
I took a quick sneak peak in pve and shuffle.
Solo shuffle: about 47 evokers over 2k.
About 999+ havoc demon hunters over 2k.
I checked casual/middle pve lists because thats what the game is about, and the list is making me sad Only saw 1 devoker ads I kept scrolling.
I feel the opposite, actually. I’d like to play a dracthyr, but don’t want to be forced to play evoker.
Okay, lets ignore pvp and talk about what the game is all about for a huge amount of players.
I looked at the casual pve ratings and I can say that both devokers and ret paladins amounts the number of serotenin molecules I have when I wake up in a monday.
Lol… What lsit did you check?
Hi I just checked 10-14 key m like io tho it was on mobile so there might have been a visual bug.
As I have a tiny iphone.
If youre on a pc you can recheck it for more reliable sources.
Solo shuffle is more hilarious. Count every devastation evoker over 2k and compare it to havoc demon hunter. Haha.
But why are you checking and comparing to other classses when you could of simply see the class it self.
Its not like ‘x is played more’.
Evoker does well.

Sure, while they dont run alot in top 100. with 4 eligible for top 100, that doesnt mean its a bad class at all.
Theres currently over 120k evokers that hhave stepped foot in M+.
I mean we complained about the dragon look since early beta but only got a slightly beefier form / body type. Still far from what was possible (look at those beefy NPCs). Many would play that, even without wings.
Then there is the running animation.
But at the end of the day it’s all about being S tier or not. DK / DH were. Monk / Evoker were not. Popularity follows, especially nowadays with YT tier lists etc.
On top of that lorewise players wanted to play Illidan / Arthas but cba about Chen / Dragonflight. Not enough coverage in canon from warcraft 1, 2 and 3 to reach the level of popularity of proper Hero classes.
On a personal note i like Devokers. I wish it was a bit less squishy or have 40 range to compensate but it is fine. Fun and Deep Breath is probably the most satisfying skill in the game.
Im checking the top devastation evoker for example and its profile says ”healer” and the later runs has the ”healer” tag on it?
Is it just bugging out on phone or am I missing something?
Why do devastation spec I check say ”healer score mythic + score”?
Saiyan devoker would work just like that except a few differences:
The mouth beam would reach a few meters instead.
It would leave but a tiny scratch in soft snow.
Also the two saiyan melees would instantly stun, interrupt it and spit on it and the devoker would be deADvoker
Not that I wouldnt want to play a saiyan.
What is interesting is that I can shoot laser out my mouth with that giant toy. Looks fun.
It will be right after the first season
On Beta I wanted to try it but was disappointed when I didn’t see a spec melee. If it had one it would continue to resist. There are a lot of Drakthyr warriors around the island and I really don’t understand why Blizzard didn’t teach them hand-to-hand dueling. I’m not saying he has to be our classic warrior… A warrior spec of him, from Drakthyr.
For the “human” aspect I would propose free choice to the player. Choose an existing and playable race.
Ok, now explain how half their mechanics work on races without wings? Hell, their racial abilities are literally in the talent tree.
Deep Breath? Nope, needs wings.
Hover? Wings.
Dreamflight? Wings again.
Rescue? Oh look, wings!
Zephyr? Oh look at that, WINGS!
Heavy Wingbeats / Clobbering Sweep? Wings AND a tail.
You just want to play evoker but not be a drake, which fine, fair enough, but stop asking them to further break lore because you can’t do whatever you please within the confines of the world you spend your time in.
I thought this as well. It’s a pretty easy fix. We also avoid potential balancing issues.
Dragons can freely choose their Visage, it’s very strange Dracthyr can’t do the same thing.
ye lets have yet another melee spec harassing tanks.
Evokers in 2050 …Hold my beer.
Personally I’d be happy with more customization. I want to play as one of them thicc dragons you see in Valdrakken, not a gecko.
Evoker is just such a weird class (mostly talking about Devastation). Initially their signature style was high burst, then they removed that and replaced it with more sustain damage. This is fine, but they still feel squishier than a DH or rogue. Hover is pretty essential to playing Evoker. There’s absolutely no way you can sit there and cast when your armor feels about as strong as wet tissue paper. I don’t know any other spec that is forced to use a movement ability just to play the game. In a perfect world Hover would be a toggle considering how important it is to evoker gameplay, but I understand that’s a controversial topic.
I guess what I’m saying is, yes more character creation options would be nice, but that the lack of it won’t be the death of evoker. The class itself will.
Oh, also they can’t fly. Remove soar cooldown (or lower to 1 min everywhere) and give them dragonriding abilities instead. The main reason I was hyped about DF was playing as a dragon and being able to soar over azeroth. What a huge disappointment it was when I discovered that was not possible D:
I am afraid they aren’t going to do that.
The other races can’t start flying and breathing fire.
It will not. I like that few people are playing devo, makes me feel like a special snowflake eventho im not allowed to “main” it that much due to being the only tank in our m+ team haha
