It’s already the best single target legendary for Venthyr warriors and it will be even stronger. I understand this buff is PvE based but it will be out of hand in PvP. Is there any chance it will be toned down in PvP? Warrior is already top tier spec and needs no further buffs for Venthyr or Kyrian covenants.

I mean yes they’re buffing Arms, but look on the bright side: they prevented Survival Hunters from droping Steel traps during Aspect of the turtle!
So rejoice, because what we really should worry about is the oppressive SV Hunter meta. Arms is fiiiiiiiine.

My only worries are that they will refuse to nerf recently buffed legendary and will nerf other aspects of Warrior killing Kyrian, Necrolords and NF Warrior while Venthyr will still remain mongo Condemn spamming spec.

This is a concern you could have about a lot of classes. Take Ele for example. They are strong mainly because of Primordial Wave. Nerfing the base abilities hits non Necrolord Ele a lot harder which is wrong in my eyes.

Gonna test this on wednesday. However all I wanted so say is that they should nerf OP covenant abilities rather than the base kit of classes.
This topic isn’t about Elemental though but about possible outcome of Executioner buff when the patch comes out.

What is gonna change? you only meet arms in 2s anyways, now you will meet more arms? nope you wont
they can continue fighting themselves so who cares.
Now bladestorm doesn’t destroy you, instead ms will destroy you.

There is huge difference because most Venthyr players play Executioner already because it’s the best single target legendary. In 2s you need nothing more than single target. This legendary can go out of control if it won’t be adjusted in 2s.

yes but since it is always warri/x vs warri/x it basically doesn’t matter 
if they occasionally destroy some random ww monks, good for them.

There are a lot of things that have been out of control in 2s since start, have they been adjusted? No.

Of course but getting them 1 by 1 we can get better situation. Just because there are plenty of wrong things it doesn’t mean we shouldn’t talk about them. If this goes live Warriors will be S++ tier not S anymore.

Hm…yes, but…if we have 6 (let’s say) wrong-doers and 1 good-doer and we have to fix all 6 OR, make the good-doer a 7th wrong-doer, and we are lazy and uncaring devs and, anyway haven’t fixed the 6 wrong-doers for so long, what would we do?
After this patch many bombs will drop.
People don’t see yet that this patch will do more harm than good for balance.
Also if you are tired of rogues oneshotting you then you aren’t prepared what is coming with the venthyr rework
