They gave us warning to delete all in-game mail about a week ago. It still surprises me why people wouldn’t read.

Not necessarily. If the mail got sent from one stuck character to another stuck character, the mail will bounce back to sender after 30 days. Cannot remember how long the mail stays after the bounce back, could be another 30 days.

One solution could be to just delete or loot the mail in the inbox. Nothing that important is there. Easiest solution would be to just enable the Enter World button for rest of the week, but Blizzard is reliably unreliable. They might jerk us around in hopes of getting 150 total euros from paid character transfers.

In theory, yes, but most certainly some people would try and level further.

It could only work with some silly stuff like the server booting you after 60 seconds over and over, teleporting you to a faction capital mailbox during login, and also setting up all xp to be negative (Joyless Journeys debuff).

Depends on how many people got stuck. I did burn myself with waiting for the last minute in the past, but most everyone knew the shutdown is coming.

The whole purpose of this past week was to login and delete your mail. If login is re-enabled, I am sure some will complain at the end of the period that they still have mail.

Really, you cannot think beyond that? You move the character you sent it from then after 30 days it bounces to a character that doesn’t exist.

The mail should all be deleted so you can move characters and all guilds should be deleted too.

This extra time was so you can do all you need to be able to transfer characters. But no, you had to use it to level and that is your comeuppance and then have more so you can level again and it will happen again and you will want more time.
