Mercenary mode in PVE would be LFR equivalent.
Mercenary mode is a queue relieving option for random battlegrounds. You are put into autoqueue content namely a BG. So at best Merc PVE mode would be LFR, a random dungeon, in current expansion it would also be a Warfront. But not in any PuG content, so no Nm/Hc/Mythic Raiding, no Mythic plus, no mythic 0 etc.
This isn’t a proposal to you tho; it’s a general discussion of finding a solution to a issue and you’re on the side of the issue and only giving the feedback of ‘‘I dont like it’’
It’s not constructive feedback, it’s annoying and doesn’t help finding a way solve the issue. Reply with something constructive or just stop it’s not helping…

I hope we never see cross faction play in this game.
If you want to save the Alliance find some way to make your fellow players stick to your faction and not jump ship.
I dont believe there is any fix to this problem. I think we’ll continue to see ppl mass moving to horde and alliance slowly dying. It doesnt really matter for pvp since there is merc mode anyways, and alliance pve will just die in the end when everyone is horde.
I have every business being in this thread. When people are seeking to destroy the game I have loved and adored since TBC, I’m going to be very vocal when they try to break it in ways that would probably make me quit.
Not really, because you offer nothing constructive at all outside of being a child. But, you know talking to a brick wall is fun for a while, but it gets tiresome at some point.
Thats a game issue, only solvable by Blizzard thats why this discussion exists…
What you want me to do? tell players to go Alliance when 70 percent of the players are already Horde, they’ll laugh at me and think I’m dumb. How about you stop replying and only reply when you have something that could help fix the issue.
Also why are you even MVP on the forums, clearly a mistake.
The factions are messing this game up and I wish they would just go and fade into irrelevance, as they should have done years ago. The growing imbalance benefits no one (perhaps except people who genuinely enjoy sitting in the BG queues for 40 minutes). I sincerely doubt there is a realistic way to stop it. Faction war as a concept is stale, boring, and inherently rigid, not to mention directly responsible for the absolute mess that was BFA.
I wish Blizzard just put the concept of factions in the trash can, let me play together with my friends, and stopped the exhausting merry-go-round of “we’re enemies, now we’re friends, now we’re enemies, we’re friends!” which, frankly, stopped being fun after the first three rounds.
I guess that’s rather easy to say as a horde player where the communities are not 10 times smaller than the one in the horde and where people can choose from more proper guilds.
This kind of answer is not valid from a horde player since it’s just pure luck that people started copying the best players and they happened to play horde for the very small amount of racial difference.

Mercenary mode, the fact that the faction conflict already faded into the background in Warcraft 3 and so much more.
The factions are a problem and will remain one until they are either removed alltogether or people are allowed to freely play with one another.
(Outside of the fact that they severely restricting storytelling in the first place.)

Even if it’s “faded”, that doesn’t imply we should make WoW into Roblox.
MVP’s are allowed their own opinions. No need to get personal. I suggest to just stop answering and going in circles. Nothing will make Puny change her mind about this, factions is what makes the game to her.
I wouldn’t feel any different if I mained Alliance. It’s just such a very basic part of the game that I don’t want to see eroded. You can’t have the green card to remove something for both factions just because you play Alliance.
I would love for Blizzard to do something but I don’t think they know how to tackle the issue either. I’m just saddened how some think it’s fine to railroad everyone else into what they feel works best for them and everyone else be damned.
The only MVPs who are worth their title are the ones in the technical and support forums.
