Recently got the alchemist stone and I’m quite enjoying it, and working on upgrading it to the last rank, however I was wondering how to reliably farm expulsom?
Transmute has a day cool down, and as far as I know all pieces of gear green/blue/purple have the same expulsom rate (16~18%) so I’ve just been scrapping linen bracers that I individually buy from the AH. Is there a better way to farm expulsom?
Bracers was the way back then and probably still is. If you have a leatherworker or tailor alt you can craft them yourself, or check with guild mates if they have the mats for them on the cheap.
Check for world quests too, there are often some that give 5 expulsom.
You scrap bracers. You stand at the scrapper and scrap hundreds of bracers. Nine at a time. Fun and engaging gameplay.
The only difference is where you get your bracers - either you make them yourself or you buy them from the AH. That’s pretty much it. For making hundreds of bracers to scrap, your best bet is either Tailoring or Skinning/Leatherworking because you can farm the materials on a forced spawn spot - google it and you’ll get suggestions, there’s plenty of spots in Kul Tiras and Zandalar. Of course, after crafting your several hundred bracers you will need to mail them to your alchemist… Twelve at a time. Because BfA profession design respects your time.
