Fat "Kachink" pig mount of $$$ on day 1 of mythic race?

I’d love that

But 99% sure we won’t have it…

didnt you get the statue ?

Thank you, Mr Troll ! I will !

And there it is… “You dont have to buy it. It doesn’t matter”

Except it does. Its content. That we pay monthly for…for them to make. This game is largely amount collecting mounts and mogs since gear is going out of date so fast nowadays.

So by that standard this pig should be in game for us to earn. Not to be locked behind more microtransactions because greed.

And once again. Its not worth 50 % of BFA’s cost…

With Activision having the reigns? Who are charging people for dots? What was it? € 2 for a smily face that was free in previous games? Nope.

Glad to have someone sane in this chat! Love you, Destruct!

No its not. And thats something that people like the guy that designed WoW’s loot system up until BFA would agree on. He was on a panel, holding a speech a while ago where he discussed how putting stuff on an auction house or putting it on a vendor was destroying the fun of playing the game because things became predictable, foreseeable and it took away from the game whilst also addressing issues with WoW’s current problem with too much RNG. Fascinating video. Ill link it here.

Bottomline. Buying special things is bad for a game because it takes away from the sense of accomplishment and feel.

if I bought my tusks of mannoroth from a vendor in Orgrimmar for 500k gold i wouldn’t give a damn about them. But I do… because of the journey it took me to get them. They matter to me And I’ll always remember that journey with the group of people i was with.

Money is money. Whether in game or out. Especially now since we can buy gold in WoW.
I disagree with your point from the perspective of old school wow game design.

I gotta say that’s one ugly dang mount :joy:

This conversation was about the pig mount, it gives sense why it is in the Store … I am not talking about the other mounts though.

But anyway buying mounts is not pay to win in any way, and it is not a content, especially when the mount is out of context and does not even match with the themes of the game (Shu-zen and the pig mount)

Guys, why instead of all this arguing on the forums… can’t we just become friends in RP-shire? it would do the game some good

how can a flying pig be pay2win?
Pay2Bacon more likely

Flying bacon produces super powers to most humans so imagine what it will do to our champions/heroes/whatever they are currently called in game

It’s shady business practices at its finest. Releasing another store mount only 6 weeks after the previous one is a worrisome trend and I fear for the future. Anyone defending this are just unaware of the precedent that this is likely setting.

It is completely understandable with this one though … you can argue about the others.
