Fat "Kachink" pig mount of $$$ on day 1 of mythic race?

They knew what they were doing. If they cared about the community disposition (which is at an all time high towards the negative end of things) they would have held off on the Vulpine Familiar mount and released this instead. Convenience is all this is to Activision, a shady means of cramming in monetization.

Convenient.

As if most people aren’t gonna buy it for themselves. Why couldn’t blizzard gift it to us, their loving monthly paying players?

I got mine!!!

We don’t even know if it was created by Blizz or by their sister company in China. So it is quite a nice surprise they gave us an access to these “regional only mounts”

Vulpine familiar seems off either way, the ship (Dreadwake?) is another thing … I undestand what you mean, though these mounts are still cheper than many sought mounts. Anyway Hogrus is promotional, those who want this mount can be happy they have any access to it (normally they’d have none, because it is regional thing)

If Blizzard/Activision remotely cared about community goodwill they could easily make it a reward for some kind of Lunar Festival related event like the OP mentioned, or maybe even another in-game secret that’s Pandaria related. But no, they charge you half the expansion instead because sheep will buy it in droves. Sadnessssss~

Indeed, my bad, thank you blizzard for allowing me to spend 25 euros on a mount :grinning:

I shall however be waiting for the piggy bank re-skin so I can ride around on a spitting image of how blizzard sees me.

Yeah, they could, but then they would create another mount for promotion…

i wanted to make a post on this but not able too, but i’m glad someone else has so i can have my say: yet again another nice looking mount for money, when they could of had it ingame as reward.

It was like this before … I’d love if you could acquire everything in the game, but people want something for their loyalty for the game and Blizz gives them mounts for buying game time (1 year?) in China.

I bet that in China they did not have the offer to get Dreadwake mount with 6 months subscription.

I know store mounts are here to stay. They’re not going away anytime soon, however having a subscription promotion, a store mount and now another store mount for “Chinese New Year” in the span of just a few months is absolutely insane. It’s a scheme of corporate greed and it’s so sad some people stand by to defend how lousy of a practice this is.

Jito like a predator hunting and trolling, how are you still not banned thats enigma to me xD

I’d say that the price is way to high, I can agree on this, but players want special gifts for their loyalty to the game.

I don’t like store mounts, I have said it many times, but with this one, I can understand it.

Yeah, we’ve got a lot in the store and that is the reason why people are upset.

I am glad that the games are changing to cater to beautiful lady gamers.

Hopefully there will be a new mount released every week and shiny pony transmog items in the game later in 2019.

Just stop, it’s already dead! :sob:

Are you calling ladygamers pigs? Or what does that comment have to do with a flying pig mount?

So, you think that female gamers want ponies and rainbow unicorns?

In this case you should not worry, because Hogrus is far away from that…

Praying for good fortune and placing good luck charms in front of a business has been a widespread practice in East Asia for a rather long time. It’s got very little to do with corporate culture and more to do with polytheism.

It’s still a bad move by Blizzard tho. This could have been a Lunar Festival mount, but instead we get a bunch of scuffed toys and a hearthstone from last year. Doesn’t feel much like a celebration if you have to give all your shekels to a multi-billion corporation, now does it?

But this is mount for Eastern parts (China) which is controlled by sister company to Blizz. we do not know about the conditions between these two companies.

They are giving these “promotions” with the purchase of game time, because they see that ppl are quitting and empty game doesn’t look good in the eyes of an investor.
