Favourite Dungeon

I should do another topic! I have a feeling we’ll see some familiar ones listed.

Probably Upper Blackrock Spire

Argh, of course it was. Sorry, my memory is a complete mess.

Probably Brewery, coz I am a child and enjoyed the drunken monkeys and giant carrot wielding rabbit.

Not sure if it counts as a raid or a large dungeon, but the classic UBRS will always hold a special place for me.

If UBRS is disqualified, my second pick is probably Halls of Lightning. Not sure why, but there’s just something about that dungeon that really resonates with me.

Tazavesh: Streets.

why can’t So’azmi’s rogue abilities be incorporated into Rogue.

Loved this when I first started playing, learning the importance of pulling things back, avoiding patrols and focusing mobs trying to flee.

Then I spent countless hours farming it as a frost mage, which I recall distinctly less fondly.

That was my answer aswell.

I don’t know why, but that dungeon is the first thing that comes to mind when I think about adventure in WoW.

Everything about it felt like a big adventure to me. You could surely say that about every dungeons back then, but this is the one that stuck with me.

I love the lore and feel of it with a good dose of nostalgia. Something was lost when it changed in mop

Culling is cool but escape? Probably onevof the more tedious

Probably Blackrock Spire.

I’m will resigned to fact that will never get another of those, but what I liked about it is how much it felt like a place. A dangerous one. And it has hard areas and easy areas, and you were meant to comes back many times to explore different areas. It is a model upon which most dungeons should be built, but none are.

Vanilla dungeons should be the platform for any new Dungeons they were the best by far even until this day

Classic UBRS. That place was a rite of passage. I hope they bring that one back as well. Old Scarlet Monastary ones are in the pipeline. Those were great too.

Any of the cataclysm dungeons because that was for me a special expansion where i found out how to play this game properly in terms of endgame content
And every dungeon teached me something about the game and my class
Especially blackrock caverns …everytime i see that loading screen it brings back a lot of memory

probably one of the SM dungeons, they are the ones i played most back in vanilla, farming shards.

I can’t think of any that stand out too much for me.

I probably group them into ones I’m fond of and ones I’m a lot less fond of.

I did like court of stars, the arcway, brackenhide, grim batol, lost city of tol’vir.

i would say before m+ version it was jade temple in mop but s1 in df made me hate it.
So i go with shadowfang keep or the one in mop with the mantis where you need to drop the honey to damage them.
Sadly they removed it from timewalking.

Freehold is definitely my favourite! :1st_place_medal:

It was fun back then, but now it is all about being mighty and powerful and crushing big mob packs with AoE.

M+ has a habit of making me detest a lot of places that I enjoyed as a regular dungeon.
