Its extremely annoying when you fear someone and pop trinket and start to cast soul fire and prepare for some big numbers…and the feared target runs out of range. I think fear should be turned into a stun or something so the target cant run away.
Absolutelly, sounds completelly fair. It really should also damage the enemy while they run. Maybe give them like a 80% slow afterwards?
Yeah it’s so silly how it doesn’t make you immune when you’ve cast fear on someone it’s like they actually expect you to fight and not just Fear and DOT like what?
As PvP shadowpriest I completely agree. Maybe it should apply a 10 sec silence after the fear too, you know, it’s so annoying if I fear someone and my DOTs don’t finish him off before the fear wears off so he can just heal right up before coming back to me.
A silence would really help with that.

Some ppl can die of fear, the best option would be to make fear instant kill you if it wears off before dots will.

You don’t fear and cast Soulfire, simple as that. Watch Drakedogs videos. What pet does he use? The Succubus. What does the succubus Seduce-Cast do? It Stuns people IN PLACE.
You use succubus seduction for that.
I agree with ye. Fear should keep the enemies in place instead of running away. It should also brake on the first attack, and heal enemies while it lasts.
