Mathematically given the visible queue issues and all with all available metrics you can safely assume that throughout the run of Classic and TBC Horde have outnumbered Alliance to quite a serious degree.
Given it is common knowledge that most PvPers rolled Horde in Classic and this trend strengthened throughout it’s lifespan and into TBC we can therefore assume that most serious pre-made groups would end up on Horde. Now lets be generous and assume that even 20% of all people queuing Alliance are pre-mades, while the other 80% are pugging.
From a sample size of say 10,000 people that would be 2000 premading and 8000 pugging. If we take WSG for mathematic simplicity that would be 200 games where you would encounter a pre-made and 800 where you would encounter a pug. Are you following this so far?
So far dont like it as i’ve been put on horde side, and alliance are very good at making premades (quick losses though, but no honor gained)
If I am going to face my own faction, atleast remove the possbility of facing premades.
Also I get that this is a QoL change for horde, but this is dumb. Stop catering only to horde.
Why should Alliance have to fight Horde premades but Horde shouldn’t?
Because some of them are racists.
-horde.
I love bgs, my favourite part of the game, ranked in classic doing bgs 12-15 hours a day and had a blast. The only downside was queues, if you could remove queue time you would have only had to spend 6-7 hours doing bgs. having to plan your day around queues just to get the amount of honor needed to cap was horrible.
Having spent the last few days doing bgs I have noticed the average ability of each player in pvp go down. Maybe this is why alliance were so bad in bgs, with instant queues anyone can just queue for “fun” with 0 pvp experience where as with 1 hour and over queues the only people that will queue are people that really enjoy pvp and know what they are doing.
premades - maybe this is because i ranked solo in classic but there are not nearly as many premades and there was then and it doesn’t bother me, obviously they have an unfair advantage which shouldn’t be allowed, but 1 in 5 games on average ive met a premade that really wasn’t very good. if we were in classic i would put money on that half these premades would lose, they use 0 consumables and are terrible at defending their healers. in classic they would pop fap and sappers on cd. But they are a group of people trying to abuse a system to get 100% win rate for faster honor. premade are worse right now because of the test in queues too which is important to note imo.
overall, i have really enjoyed instant queueing and not having to plan my day around that, or missing a queue because of something happeneing in irl and wasting even more time.
I have heard about more w-pvp too, was actually ganked on the way into SLabs yesterday for the first time since tbc was released which was refreshing too see, and people in my guild talking about getting ganked quite a bit now. ive yet to go out in the world yet because of instant queue, but i will do it today and maybe edit this idk.
most fun i had in weeks in wow!
I played about 40 bgs in that system and i wont play anymore brooo i just cant this so fk weird play against horde when u are tauren or smth… And premades yeee in that 40 bgs I fight maybe 3-5 times with pug. I already exp my NE druid and broo they have normal bgs when u see realy enemy no so fk orc with human mask. Yeyeye I know u got 1min que now but when I play this bgs I felt more like I play on some 300pop private server srsly. All haters will say u idiot wanna wait 2hr que? no I dont. They must change something give some fk XP/REP/HONOR boost to ally side and ppl will get bored this idiot bg system and reroll. TAKE THIS SYSTEM AWAY ITS KILLING TRUE SPIRIT OF BATTLEGROUNDS IN TBC. ITS NOT FKIN RETAIL!!!
I also would like to add that people moaning about premades don’t do bgs very often, queueing for 1 min to lose in 5 mins is a million times better then queueing for 1 hour 20 and losing to a premade which happened alot.
It’s way better to finally play some bgs instead of waiting in que. While premade after premade is another problem altogether and should be adressed - since it’s easier to spot that u can play 20 games a day, with 10 easily being against premade.
Pre-mades were never addressed in Classic because it was a non-factor to Horde.
It’s laughable that you demand a fix now that you’re dealing with yet another problem you cause.

They were never addressed, Those changes did nothing to fix the problem. Exploits still existed to pre-made AV and they were never touched for AB/WSG.
It was a non-factor to Horde because they didn’t have to deal with their own premades when ranking. If they did you can be damn sure the forum would have been bombarded the same way the were the last week.

They won’t listen to reason so if wow dosen’t soon improve i’ll just quit.
its laughable how much of a victim the alliance are. literally 8-10 games were against premades Even to the point i refused to play wsg because it was a 100% loss. Of course we didn’t have to face horde premades, but WE DID have to face alliance premades over and over again.
Classic was also #nochanges.
Mathematically not possible for you to play Alliance premades 8 out of every 10 games but alright.

This is the worst change in whole history of WoW. Putting every benefit on horde side will kill the alliance faction totally. You only had to open free horde -> alliance faction change and it would solve the problem for everybody. Blizzard pls wake up. If not I can at least end my addiction and quit this game because devs totally suck in decision making.

I’m sorry, do you have the numbers of every alliance person on EU servers that ranked? Keep playing the victim and trying to project how hard the alliance have it.
Alliance had instant queues for the entirety of Classic, Horde queues were what 30-35 minutes on average for most games?
Given that premade communities, Especially ones that would actually win games were relatively closed and small on Alliance you simply cannot have played premades 8 out of every 10 games. The math doesn’t check out, Even at a 3-1 Horde to Alliance queue ratio that kind of consistency isn’t possible.

you are saying that its mathematically impossible for 2 game a hour not to be an alliance premade? KEK you clearly didnt rank in classic. On Wednesday it was a 100% premade all day. but you know, its mathematically impossible.
I’m saying that specifically in Classic you could not have played premades 8 out of every 10 games. The math when extrapolated simply does not support that statement even in the most vague definition.
In TBC it is quite possible since the Alliance PvP community was already decimated by people using boost to switch to Horde. The issue is you specifically stated Classic, Not TBC.
