BLizzard. What is going on with this insanely overtuned boss. I am on Layer 2 of Mort Regar, the entire thing was a breeze… Get to the boss… he basically 3 or 4 shots me every time… you cant kite it… you cant silence it… you can kick it but my kick is on along timer. There is no shield by the boss to be able to change spec… Basically wasted 2-3 hours of my life trying to solo this layer. I don’t get a lot of time to play so feeling like I completely wasted an evening is not high on my list of priorities. GG Blizz thanks!

No… No … no no… you are totally wrong. Its not down to Getting good… If that were the case there would be some skill based element involved here. There is not. You need to have the correct RNG powers and/or better gear. SIMPLE AS.
poster has said…“roguelikes are fun because you gain something each run, and because the play itself is rewarding, wow is not built on fun solo combat, it’s a progression game, so why skip the part where even a failure grants a reward that ALL RECENT POPULAR ROGUE LIKES HAVE HAD?”

I wouldn’t do layer 1.
All I’ve done on the bosses on layer 3 is press convoke and they die.
I too kill the boss extremely fast as boomkin druid on Layer 3.
I took 20% hp off this boss in 1 convoke in layer 2. Not sure what’s going on then? My gear isnt great but I had 20 anima powers

What anima powers? That matters more than how many you had.
If you have only 4 of this:
It’s stronger than any other 20 anima powers that’s not this.
But WHAT Anima powers.
Some might look good on paper but actually sucks.
EDIT: Maw of the Maw deals extra damage to you if you have any powers with “Obleron” in their name.
A stacking damage buff on him each time he consumes them.
Look at floor 3 if it’s a slimyboi in the little hologram to see what boss you’re up against, and stop picking them up if it is.
Check the guides for your spec about best anima powers, if you pick stupid anima powers than you can fight trough all floors to final boss and find out you are done because your anima powers suck
