This thread is an inside job, dont fall for it. Its purpose is to hype people up for mop/tbc thinking blizz will actually care about PvP so blizz sells a lot of 85 boosts.

It’s a tad bit concerning LFG is removed. I haven’t play classic since the beginning of Cata but PvP is cross server for LFG now no? Is so how do you find players cross server now? Even if not doesn’t this make looking for team mates tougher? Are there are plans to address this? The LFG system is out date even on retail but not sure just removing it completely is a good period.
They said its intentional. In the other forum post [Bug] Cataclysm Classic - LFG Tool not crossrealm anymore - #9 by Tyrskorn If you don’t know people you aren’t playing much if it all. Even on servers like firemaw.
Also there’s nothing saving this go do something else with your time. Mop is so much harder to script sort out and has a lot less information then cata does so if we cant fix the bugs attention dev team size for cata we aren’t getting a good mop.
If your a streamer please go play a different game and boycott this company if you aren’t and wana do pvp go play pr servers no pr servers for cata but it is what it is.
I used to play a lot of PvP including arenas, rated BGs and I would always try to compete at high rate. I play much less nowadays and more casually than before. I usually log in to play some arenas on the weekends and I don’t really have active partners. I usually find someone to play using LFG and sometimes we even push different sessions. When I play I usually do some 2s sessions as it is easier to find partners for that short sessions.
With my gamestyle I would appreciate if
- 2v2 had the same rewards as 3v3. Custom slots for end of season could also encourage me to push more.
- LFG system was more advanced or at least as detailed as it was in WotLK Classic. I use LFG a lot to find partners and in WotLK I had much better experience with it.
Other suggested changes such as Dampening starting earlier in 2s would also be a good idea. I usually have limited time to play so it would help conclude the games faster.
I loved Blizzard’s TBC, WotLK and Cata changes so far like catch-up system changes, new dungeon difficulties etc. I hope MoP experience will be similar.

First of all, thank you for creating this post—it was very necessary for someone to push these issues.
I think you covered the most important aspects of the current PvP issues.
Classic PvP has been amazing, but sadly, it has been declining for a while. Most active PvP players agree with what you’ve said.
With MoP Classic—arguably the best, or one of the best, expansions for PvP—this is the perfect opportunity to make changes that improve the overall experience for PvP players.
I encourage everyone to share this post and push for these changes, as I believe this is our best chance to see meaningful improvements in the game.
