Feedback: Warfront tier 3 set acquistion made my girlfriend sad

Hey guys, some feedback to the developers here.

My girlfriend and I recently started playing again, and she absolutely adores the tier 3 Darkshore plate set. She started farming it, doing the quest for about 2+ months on both horde and alliance. She put a lot of effort into this, making sure never to miss a chance, she got the entire set, except for the belt, which wont drop for her, and she just did the last darkshore before SL release, she has 1 more chance with the weekly world pvp chest on Alliance, and if that fails, we lost our best chance to ever farm that set.

With a bit of research, it turns out that 2 months isnt even a long time to farm this, as there is NO bad luck protection. Some exceptionally unlucky people haven’t gotten it since release, even though they are farming it with multiple characters. Same goes for the Arathi Warfront sets.

My question is, what is your solution to make this farmable in a playable manner in Shadowlands? My girlfriend adores this set, and she’s absolutely devasteted that there’s very little she can do to get it now. (Slow ques or guild groups to even start the warfront, not enough contributions etc.)

As the title suggest and as many of you already know by now, the Warfront sets have an “Elite” Appearance, that does not show in the Transmog collection tab, which can be obtained only by doing the Warfront Quest for the 370 ilvl gear once every cycle. In other words, in the Arathi Warfront you can unlock one item from the Elite Appearance once every 3-4 weeks. And you have a chance to get a duplicate ( 3x Belt on my Cloth characters so far was one of the most disheartening things in WoW recent…

I know that pain. I’ve been doing Arathi warfront on 8 characters(4 horde and 4 alliance), 2 plate, 2 mail, 2 leather 2 two cloth for like a year. I haven’t completed a single arathi tier 3 set.

I think there should’ve be an option to buy pieces of this set with Service Medals, it is a currency you get for doing warfront related stuff. This would provide a bad luck protection, you didn’t get that shoulder pad you want but here are some medals, if you collect enough you can buy it.
