Yeah would love to play bleed feral too , would be awesome to dot people up and rot them down but seems like blizzard has a hard on for ferals only being viable with big bites
They could just change omen of clarity to enable that build somehow or give us a finisher that buffs bleeds real crazy but sadly i do not think that will happen in the forseeable future…
I mean i never play without feral frenzy, having the damage + the utility of setups when doing goes is too good, you can’t play without it. It just feels so bad that i only really do damage every 40 seconds.
Yes exactly bloodtalons is just way to strange in pvp , the Bfa version was atleast abit usefull , i dont even like bloodtalons in pve cause , just annoying to go through that to do dmg , instead they could just bake the dmg into the spec and give us a fun last row of talents that increase bleed in some great ways.
It feels like bleeds are now simply a precursor to heavier CP builders. Shredding a bleeding target does increased damage.
Personally I think there should be a talent that reduces bite damage but increases all bleed damage, giving us the choice between a DoT build or a Bite build. I miss being able to put a full snapshotted set of bleeds on someone then kite them while they bleed out. I enjoy big bites too, but would love to play a bleed build.
Also the fact that if we are forced into bear form, we can’t put out any damage at all so would be nice if we could see some damage coming from those bleeds, while we try to recuperate and hopefully put some pressure on your opponent that might help with our less than great defensives.
i even made a rant video back in BFA about feral design and preformance and i predicted that feral popularity in m+ and pvp is going to be really rare. and gave blizzard feedback with video also added ideas how they can improve feral and everything , yet i keep seeing bite ,bite bite and bite build that nobody likes they even nerfed our bite pvp talent that reduces health 3 charges each one is 5% hp , it used to be 1 bite will keep the 20% health reduced , really annoying tbh i prefer getting that 20% buff on target instead of trying to get 3 bites for same stupid effect , 0 MS , they nerfed our infected wounds from 50% to 20% meanwhile rogues can spam slow with throw knife and throw shuriken , fun isn’t it?
Yeah, I’d agree with this statement. I feel our biggest issue is having zero reason to take us for lack of utility AND being melee.
I’ve pretty much hit a ceiling currently, as no Mythic raid team will even consider taking Feral, because they get everything from Druid from boomkin. It’s the same in M+ - you could be someone that plays the spec really well, but its utterly irrelvant in the eyes of the community.
Even the last Mythic logs put us at 2nd highest melee spec the other week - we’re still in the ‘instant bench’ group.
Feral bleeds have been useless for what 7-8 years since the Cata/MoP days, not really anything new, Blizzard just viscerally HATES this spec with a passion
And Affliction wasn’t a solid DoT spec since Cata.
I am not counting the broken Aff when Nighthold came out in Legion. It was a momentary setback from Blizzard’s team that aims to turn Lock players into a fan of Run, Forrest, Run song.
