Cause I still remember a year or two ago facing double ferals in arenas doing literally everything, from burst to face tanking bursts and offhealing like proper hybrids. Do i rly want a WF added to that and face it in classic? Not rly, sry. But you can have it i guess if that’s the “smallest” buffs you wish for.
I cant believe a class that can heal tank ranged caster and melee dps is trying to compare himself to a class that can only do 1 of those things, while, wait for it, compaining hes not on equal footing to him.

No point making these arguments. The people here, for the most part who are arguing that Feral is fine are also the people who have never played a Feral, nor do they have any issues facing Ferals in pvp.
My absolute favorite is the guy claiming Bear can beat every class 1v1. Yeah, sure we can, if every other class disconnects.
Feral atm has vanilla pvp tools. Yet we are no longer in vanilla. Hence why there is not a single Feral out there destroying anything in pvp.
On top, being the jack of all trades in vanilla generally means you suck at everything. Specs that excel at 1 or 2 things over everything end up performing much much better. You being able to heal, tank, cast and melee does not mean j-s*it when you cant do all 4 at the same time, in reality you cant even do 1 of those as Feral proper.

And yet, none of these make a lick of difference in pvp as Feral. Wonder why… oh that’s right, the actual core of the spec is bad. No single rune will fix the actual designed flaws that Feral has. They made the spec unplayable in vanilla, and now in SoD its just compounded by the fact that its a mix of retail.
PvE ? I think Cat is fine w/ some slight buffs, tho its hard to say since bosses have insane high armor, and resistance to bleeds, so cat gets heavily punished.

was in arathi basin yesterday as a fully geared shadow priest
i was shielded and a feral did a 850 shred crit on me after i was stunned and couldnt do anything then ripped with DoT and went bear and re-stunned me and i was basically dead in stunlock, fear was trinketed, dispersion means nothing as people just wait until its over or you use it, priest needs more survivability

Maybe you’re supposed to play Sunfire spam in pvp? Ranged, spammable, not physical damage. This is no starsurge or mutilate, but you can kill (eventually, or stealing killing blows, the meta is all about that with STV) and kite stuff at least.
My understanding is that because they put skull charge rune on pant (as roar no not benefit sunfire), it was the intent all along.

Ofc feral in pure feral form doesn’t AND SHOULD NOT be able to be on the same level as rogue.
Because as feral u can also just go out of form, root from a distance and heal urself, etc… just like every good feral player will do.
I think it’s good that hybrid specs are strong in SoD but bringing them on the exact same level would be dumb
