Well technically it’s a lot more than a 1%. Plenty of people raid mythic, it just that they don’t reach the end boss. Think of it like this if only 0.001% of people reach the last boss of a raid does that mean that the end boss should be removed from the game ?
Like many people have already pointed this out, wanting to remove content is stupid, I don’t see a lot of people getting excited for pet battle dungeons, but I don’t think they should be removed or sacrificed on the alter of “something else”. Contrary to popular believe , Blizzard is in fact a multi billion dollar company that has the experience of developing, releasing and maintaining an MMO, they should be capable of pleasing the masses and making the game for all sorts of people. My point with this is that people should demand more not less.
Warforging is a thing since Mists, but in MoP and WoD it was capped at 5 ilvls (warforce) and 10 ilvls (titanforge.) TF had a different name back then as far as I recall.
And again this idiot who love WF and don’t understand why it was bad. He probably never meet some one with lfr gear with mythic itlvl. content was so unrewarding, because the only upgrade was when item was titanforged. Why we cannot be like in old times do content once and do other things?
Only if they make it item you can use to tweak and upgrade any piece. I remember well getting 3 same pieces in row that were warforged and also 100% useless. 100% fu from Blizzard “devs”.
Must be new players suggesting this warforging, I do remember vividly that everyone hated warforging back in warlords, and how it wasn’t good, and that what we got in… Legion was way better.
Please remember this post and the community council when they start blaming blizzard for the bad warforge system “Blizzard” implemented, and that the community had no hang in implementing.
I played since the US stress test for vanilla WoW and I want TF back.
TF also isn´t just for casuals, it is more fun running high keys with more loot drops and chance of WF / TF instead of just waiting for the weekly chest of boredom where you are time-gated / limited to a single upgrade every week.
I would think of endorsing WF/TF as long as its heavily capped. +5 WF and +10 for TF.
So the “base” item still has value. Otherwise getting a new item on base level is both “lucky” and “unlucky”. Should you be happy that you got the item…or disappointed that it did not TF to +30 ilevel?
Had enough of letdowns when you are actually annoyed that you got a new item to drop…but on base item level while everyone else is going for +15 and above ilevel TF.
Leveling characters in anticipation for Mage Tower coming back sometime.
When they are max level I am tempted to do some M+ to grind some gear, because I always loved the gearing process. Had countless characters I would raid and do m+ pugs with in Legion / BFA.
Then I remember how awful the M+ drop rate is, and how terrible and sterile the gearing process is and I just give up on the char and level someone new. Farming valor and farming rating just to be upgrade items that drop FEELS so bad.
Even if Blizzard doesn´t bring back TF, for the love of Thrall improve the gearing system.
The people that want that crap system back, are the same people who love RNG, regardless of how long their crap won’t give something equal to those that put in the effort.
To heck with them i say, i hope blizz dosen’t act on this feedback at atall!
WF/TF is like digging my own grave.
The real solution was and is currency by targeting what you want. Buy the item with tokens like it was in Cata and Wotlk.
From SL i am enjoying the upgradable Valor system. So a combination of a currency with upgradable epics is the best in my book. Just look how are proceeding other MMOs like GW2 and FF14. Everything is mostly currency based i think.
As the saying goes. This is the way
When someone talks about why they liked an expansion I’ve never seen anyone say “I really liked it because of titanforging” so yeah, it probably is a coincidence.
I really liked Legion; in fact it’s my number one favorite WoW expansion. And titanforging and the way it was implemented definitely play a factor into that.
