2800 queue RN,
Blizzard is this a joke?
2800 queue RN,
Blizzard is this a joke?
Imagine logging in and not having to worry about a ridiculous queue.
Imagine not having to think about when to ‘tactically’ get in queue to make sure you’re online for scheduled raid times etc…
2020 gaming at its finest…
Really fed up with the q’s, today at 14.00 we had a 80min q already… im not paying to stand in Q anymore…!
@All: Free transfers… to an extent, yes. Using 3 000 as CCU cap… ummph. Well, if my estimate is even roughly correct, the population of Firemaw would need SIX realms by themselves, three if they accepted queues of about one to two hours during prime time… and there are only 23 English ones total… scratches head Even with some realms well below capacity forcing original CCU caps would require opening up quite a few new realms.
im curently in position 2920 average wait time 252 min and its 4.30 in the afternoon
Im not very good vvith that computer language u speak.
Judement and flamelash have quite lovv populations compared to other realms because of only one faction currently present.
Vve had loads of player before on the realm in november even vvithout layering. Explain to me hovv they need to open nevv realms? Cant they just fill up the realms currently available?
Explain it to me like I’m a 10 year old at using computers.
Queue right now: 3.098 with 269min estimated time. 4,5 hours.
@Wmill: Oversimplified version: IF realm size tiny, need more realms, because not enough space for all.
Thanks for the ansvver.
I doubt there will be free transfers.
Also I see daily people coming to Firemaw asking how the server is…
please stop transfering here.
It would be one way to alleviate some of the queue issues. Could also potentially save dying realms.
If only Blizzard wasn’t a small indie company. Maybe they could sell off the franchise to a company with capacity to open six servers. Maybe CD Project Red?
Not that they need to open six servers to fix a 4k queue. Half a server would do the job. Thankfully, there already are plenty of empty/dying/medium pop servers.
The obvious solution is to open free transfers to any non-full server and close transfers (including paid ones) to already full servers.
@Thefilth: At a more vanillalike CCU cap of 3 000… Firemaw currently has about 6 000 people inside and a queue of 3 096 and growing… That is already enough to fill three with some left over and now is not even the heaviest load point of the week…
Also, as has been seen in the past, just the existence of FCMs does not mean that a lot of people move out… and in the case of Firemaw… about 18 000 to 24 000 would have to do so, if my size estimate is correct… sighs deeply
We don’t have or want vanillalike caps. Some queue is fine. It’s just that waiting 5 hours to get back online after going to the bathroom is insanity. I don’t think anybody wants to move, but with these queues some might feel forced to. I do think FCM would help.
@Thefilth: Makazakan’s quote in your earlier post suggests otherwise as it literally says:
He’s on Nethergarde keep. A dead realm. For all he knows he could be playing with real vanilla caps. Feel free to completely disregard everything he has to say, as this entire discussion and whatever consequences it may have will have no impact on him.
Nethergarde is massively overpopulated and listed as High. The fact that you think that means “dEaD rEaLm LoL” means you speak utter nonsense and have no interest in Vanilla. Anything you say from now on can be completely ignored by anyone with a brain. By your logic, WoW has always been a dead game.
Just let us migrate from this hellhole blizzard
I dont know, i am very literal. You just said in your post what i said, mainly that layering allows blizzard to up the CCU cap because layering removes the technical limitation that doesnt allowe them to. This still in strict literal meaning means that layering doesnt increas CCU cap, it’s blizzard that alters it.
