It appears the queues are gettin’ worse instead of better as time goes by.
The queue had receeded in the past 2 weeks.
The game appears to be gaining popularity.
If I had to guess, Shazzrah, Gehennas and Golemagg all should have a similar or greater queue.

I just don’t understand. From the get go, if the server with one layer can’t accommodate this amount of people, why did Blizzard allowed to create characters on these server’s.
Now they’re doing nothing, just waiting for people to quit the game,

dead server, don’t try to bring other people to your ghost town just because you weren’t smart enough to understand that it would be DOA when it was announced. Most people knew it instantly, the naive ones (no offense) went there, that’s basically always how it works (the 80-20 rule)

it’s been a month and a half, not two, and if you’re being honest you’ll remember that the queue numbered tens of thousands of people initially (yes, on Firemaw), so you either have a bad memory or you don’t know what you’re talking about.
I just checked and Gehennas has 5474 in queue right now.
There is a stickied post that explains why this is the case. They are actively reducing the amount of layers on all the servers. That is why zones got extremely crowded even on servers where that wasn’t such a problem previously. It is also why queues are increasing because the only way to counter player density with a lower number of layers is to reduce the total player cap.
Why are people complaining? Theres a free transfer available.

Mograine here. Same, stuck at 60min wait time (2k queue) and guild raid time started…12 min ago. This was my first raid day tonight with a new guild. I will remember to log in 1h30 before next time.
Yes, they made 2 layers today, so again quaue. What will be if they will make only 1 layer???
They are obviously removing layers slowly and the queues will make people migrate.
Seems like it’s time to dust off my Remote Desktop phone app. I haven’t seen such queues for like a month.
It is a little bit more than month and a half, and I said “almost” 2 month’s. And I wasn’t talking about tens of thousands people in the que at the start of Classic either.
What I meant is, there wasn’t que this big in the last sunday.
