What server should I pick if not Firemaw?
The server is so overcrowded that its just not fun anymore.
It looks like Hordes are leaving the realm as well.
I play as alliance.
Can we start a new server to split us up or something?

You haven’t got many choices.
All the servers in the Firemaw cluster are connected to each other so it doesn’t matter which one you choose - Ashbringer, Bloodfang, Dragonfang, Earthshaker, Gandling, Golemagg, Mograine, Noggenfogger or Skullflame. They all will be crowded.
Do you want PVP or PVP?
The other PVP cluster is a lot less populated - Dreadmist, Flamelash, Judgement, Razorgore, Shazzrah, Stonespine, Ten Storms, and Gehennas.
Then there is the PVE cluster - Mirage Raceway, Nethergarde Keep, and Pyrewood Village - which is also less populated than the Firemaw cluster.
For RP PVP you have Zandalar Tribe and for RP PVE you have Hydraxian Waterlords where the hardcore players play.

For PvP you dont have any other choice … Gehennas cluster is desert , but maybe some people are going to look at it soon whit the Firemaw situation .
If you want Pve the choice is Pyrewood cluster where lot of new players joined and leveling. You have choice of guild on alliance when alliance are more populated than horde.
The servers have been dead for years? Just go on a low server and play alone then? The entire point of a mmorpg is people who play together

Why is overcrowded bad? Queue?
I have started a character in the Zandalar Tribe, the server is small compared to Firemaw, i think it’s a server that was left aside since the end of TBC and there’s a few posts on both discord and these forums trying to help it to pick up again.
I know that’s more interesting in playing in a very high populated realm, i was leveling a character on Gehennas for Wrath of the lich king, that server has 28K players or more and today i am playing in Zandalar Tribe, it feels like a fresh experience and before servers get to high pop some of them have to start by the basics.
If people come to Zandalar Tribe (which is RP-PvP by the way) I’m sure that the population can only go up.
