Hey all, last night I was fishing for Stonescale Eels in Feralas (my skill was 205, but i was using bright baubles + big iron fishing pole), so I was catching fish relatively regularly.
This morning I completed the Nat Pagle fishing quest, but now, I cannot catch a single fish. Despite having a higher skill, baubles and fishing in the same zone.
As a disclaimer, I’ve relogged, disabled all addons,tried fishing in lower zones and trying to fish ‘inland’ rather than on the coast. Nothing.
I have the same Problem, just completed the Nat Pagle Quest and now i cannot loot any fish that i catch

Don’t worry guys. There’s plenty of fish in the sea 
Did you by any chance fish at a different location in feralas? Not all locations, even in the same areas, require the same skill.
Thanks for the warning, I guess I’m not going to complete nat pagle’s fishing quest anytime soon then if completing the quest bugs out fishing. 225 fishing is plenty for most zones.
It is a known bug for long, nothing to do about skill or area. As soon as you complete Nat Pagle Quest for 225+ fishing, your loot box comes empty and unable to fish. I will wait till it is being fixed and not turn in quest. I wonder if it was a drop from any dungeon/raid was bugged how long it will take for Blizzard fix it. On my hunter I was depending my cooking on fishing for my pets.
This happened to me too other day good news is it dosnt last i have 300 fishing now and have not experienced the bug again. Happened in tanaris for me only in open water.
This is happening to me too, both in Azshara and Tanaris, very frustrating
It might have to do with Winter Squid, friend had the same problem.
I was able to level my fishing up to 275, till this started happening. Fishing from pools or lower zones works fine, but as soon as I try fishing in Tanaris or Feralas I get empty windows.
These huge bugs are breaking the game and good amount of rpg elements. Can’t even level fishing to max in fear of breaking the whole thing and that means also not getting cooking materials to cook good foods. 
Blizz better get their butt in the gear and fix these and hunter bugs asap.
Just to update my previous post, bug has reared its ugly head again cannot fish in ashzara now. 300 skill +100lure +25 rod. Had to buy food for the first time in 52 levels 
Too bad Asmongold doesn’t fish, he would’ve found this bug in the beta for sure.
Hmmm wierd, i play on Golemag , finished NatPagle about week ago and i have no problems with fishing.
There was a blue post about this bug a couple of days ago in US forums being posted. It is related to seasonal fishes like sea bass. If you happen to catch a sea bass from an ocean, your loot box will come empty but you still get credit for fishing. They intended to fix it but was more complicated than it seems, they were saying they are going to fix it before summer ends.
