Fishing in Tanaris and Hinterlands seems bugged

I wanted to try and rush fishing and cooking to 300 as fast as possible transitioning to the 40 zones makes it difficult atm since im not actually catching fish (was able to hit cooking 300 with nightfin snappers from feralas in the end). The Problem seems to be that you get skill points even and open a Loot Tab but no fish are getting caught in Tanaris and The Hinterlands at the Coast. I assume it could be having something to do with Seasonal Fishes like the Summer Bass which should be spawning there atm and maybe not being on the loot table or something in that direction.

This problem is still occuring! Fishing in the Hinterlands (on the dock of Revantusk) gives a lootwindow, but no fish. Skill-ups are still working however.
