right now there is dynamic respawn, on devilsaur, mines and some herbs, but not black lotus,
the last days devilsaur have gotten less and less respawn timer, atm its around 5 mins with 2 layers, was 8 to 18 mins before,
but we never see any chances in black lotus, yet the prices just keep on rising, they stay on 1h 40min to 2h 20mins on 2 layers and 40 to 1,2hours on 1 layer,
what we need is less respawn timer on lotus also
is the lower respawn on devilsaur just to get rid of the mafia or ?, cuz they still just gonna skin everything and keep the skins fake up and just stockpile leather or even sell it to vendor.
but black lotus is harder to control. and with a aktive server you dont even have enough lotus to support all with a flask each week. its around 670 lotus/week, you will have people that farm just to stock them up and keep the price rising its around 75-100g atm(firemaw),
i really hope blizzard thinks about this and lower the respawn time on black lotus, maybe to 40-50mins closer window or 30-60, not that much but its something.
Are you sure of that ? I farmed Devilsaur on the start of Classic, with lot of layers (3+), and the respawn was 10 to 11 minutes, constant time. That how we managed to get 3 spawn every 10-11 minutes.
In my mind, dynamic respawn is only for low-level stuff, but maybe I’m wrong ?
Yes, Black Lotus is really expensive, on my server it was 50g before Dire Maul, now I don’t know why, but it’s 80g … Others materiial like herbs, essence of life, and lot of thing have dropped in price, but not Black Lotus.
I like the thing that Black Lotus is a very rare ressource, because you’re happy when you get one . But i agree the respawn window is to much (from 1h to 1h30 from what my friend say … 30mn window it’s just to much). I think the high window is just to prevent people to farm them, because due to 30mn window you can’t predict the timer and someone else can gather it on other spawn before you road into the whole spawn point. Sure you can ask your guild mate to stay on ALL spawn points and wait all the time, but frankly no one will do that because it’s … to much time consuming for just 1 flask.
what i found is high end notes spawns faster depending on amount of players in zone and how many are actively picking herbs.
im kinda in same boat as #nochanges, but there’s already so many changes, if they done it with other stuff, might aswell do it with black lotus, as the devilsaur when from 10 to 25 window to 5-16 window, on 2layers im not even sure what the respawn is on 1 layer.
flasking just make raid more fun, and i dont see making black lotus spawn faster breaks the prices, if we go 40 to 60 mins, you would get 36 lotus a day each zone instead of 24, if it just stays, the price will just go up and up, to around 150-300g. until no black lotus is on AH.
Ps: the hunter trick is really nice, been using it for some time but need to make more hunters for other zones
