Fix Raid Rolls, or Change the Loot System

The advantage with PL vs GL in raids are obviously alot smaller since you will see more speccs and classes represented. It is still there though. If you don’t need daggers your rogues can put outlaw loot specc and you wont see dagger drop i.e. If you want to maximize certain drops you can alter the raid compositon with PL but with GL that won’t affect drop rates

But I’d rather be able to trade every item that drops to the best person to use it and not risk items going to players we dont intend to use in raid in the first 2-3 weeks of heroic clear.

PL enforces ilvl requirements for trading, so it’s worse.

Exactly. As Naethir put it - you are morally obliged to always roll need on every single item you are able to.

That is what the system has been designed for. The other buttons/options is for newbies who don’t understand real world.

So. Roll need, then sell it chat. That is what Group Loot is for.

PL gave loot to “overgeared” ppl all the same, it was just less visible.

This character i’m currently writing cleared normal and heroic twice first 2 weeks of this tier and got exactly 0 loot. You can fact check it from my logs. 32 boss kills and 0 loot.

Group loot is stupidest loot system they are forcing into lfg. Both systems co existed in modern wow before ( legion ) and it worked perfectly fine. Just because 0.00001% of the game abusing a specific system first week of the tier everyone else is suffering atm

Both can be bad. But i better have the current option. I once got an tier token that i could not use with the character i was there. But everyone passed on it so i got it. The token was warband bound so i got a free tier piece for my warrior.
Previously i often saw that the game gave away loot to someone that doesnt need it. And it cant be traded if i am not mistaken.
Yesterday i was mad that 2 of the 3 raids i didnt get anything. Also i had to do 1 raid boss twice because came in an already progressed group. But deserter is more time then continue so i did the last boss for nothing. But the 3th raid i won 2 items while the token i rolled 100 on and with that one i can choose a piece.

If it’s warbound that’s personal loot. Not that people passed on it

Yep i got a regicide on my dh that is also warbound. Got it direktly into my bag when i lootet happned again with some other dagger on my dh (i swear blizz knows i hat energy classes thats why they throw daggers at me)
