Fix scaling in Legion raids!

How is this not fixed yet?

Its likely really easy for them to do, a flip of a switch enabling a damage-multiplier for old raids like they use to. People evolve their characters in a new expansion but get weaker than they was before, how does that make any sense?

It is not fixed because from their point of view, it is not broken. Ion said ‘they don’t see a problem’ and asked people to provide specific examples of anyover tuned old raids… the fact is ALL old raids are overturned even ICC takes longer now. But they as per usual think they know best.

Personally I’ve got a couple of months on my sub. SL has enough for me right now but if I can’t start farming Gul’dan and Argus for their mounts solo and relatively easily by Easter then I’m gone.

I could farm HFC solo by late Legion I should be able to do Argus now (Aggramar is the main block here)

Oh yes please fix this, tried some legion raiding the other week, was like wading through treacle on an ilvl 200. Ridiculous, so slow.

I was bored this morning …

Logged my Balance Druid 208ilvl went to do all Legion LFRs for missing transmogs …

Got to Kil Jaeden … 5.4k ticks with 34k hp … thank you blizz good scaling

Also theres no way I am able to solo Kings Rest m0 which I had no problems soloing back in BfA

And I so remember them telling how scaling will not affect soloing old content in no way at all …

king’s rest second boss isn’t soloable. It sends you to those coffins and the run resets. The damage is just too low to skip that.

But at least, underrot and freehold can be solod. Which is better than nothing i guess.

Currently, me and my friend (both 215 ilvl) are soloing Aggramar & Argus weekly. What’s funny, is that while he outdpses me (I play a Vengeance DH) by atleast 3-4 times on burst in SL content, he barely outdpses me in Legion content. It’s like there is a ‘limit’ on how much damage you can push.

Aggramar is actually more difficult than some bosses on +15 and in CN. Total joke!!!

I’d love to see a video of Aggramar so I can see what I am doing wrong, I’ve tried several times and cannot get close (a few ilvls behind you though) . Finally got Gul’dan this week (just… had less than 10hp left) . Still ten times harder than it was at 120 in BfA, I needed everything including drums and a rune.

I can stream it to you next week how we do it. It’s insane though dude, trust me. We are more coordinated than in HC CN and in +15s. 1 mistake and it’s a wipe. I can give you a brief summary of my tasks, and his.

We pull, zerg him to the 1st transition in order for him to not cast the technique. On mythic it’s random (the combination), and the 2nd foe breakerand 2nd rend hit for like 1000% increase, which 1 shots pretty much.

In the transition, we kill the adds in 2 packs, because if all explode in 1 go, the boomkin can’t survive (goes oom due to regrowth spamming). Meanwhile while boomkin’s CDs recover, I kite the 2 big adds. When CDs recover, I kill them and P2 starts. All CDs on this one (offensive ones, not defensive).

Now the 1st full combo of technique happens. 1st rend and foe breaker are no issue (as a DH I can glide it normally). The tempest must be avoided as it one shots. Now the biggest challenge that’s RNG dependant. If boss does foe breaker - rend - tempest and then either rend or foe breaker 1st, it’s not issue. For 2nd rend and 2nd foe breaker I use a combination of fel devastation (for meta), fiery brand for 40% dmg reduction and Hakkar trinket from DOS (all those lasts for the window of 10 seconds, and if you pop FB, fel deva and dos trinket 1 second before FB / rend, the combo only takes 5 seconds). If a combo of FB, sweep, rend/FB, tempest (tempest being the 4th element), rend/FB occurs, I have to meta on the last pack to survive it.

Goal is to have 1 technique per phase, which is insanely hard. Both of us must be pushing really hard. Keep in mind that he now has 1000% damage increase from noone soaking his sweeps. Even his melees are now really hard to outheal. I need a potion and the kyrian vial.

In transition 2, same as before, divide adds by 2 because they hurt alot more now.

Now we are at Phase 3, the hardest part. With the addition of everything mentioned above, his foe breaker now stuns for 3 sec. Since the timing between the foe breaker and the rend is so small, you have to place him on one side of the platform, and react while flying from the rend (to glide properly). 1st foe breaker and rend are countered with CDs, tempest is avoided, 2nd FB is countered with cheat death, and on rend, the druid CRs me (no way of surviving). If we do this, the boss has to die until the next technique.

Just fix scaling full stop, its just lazy at this point.
