For some this might be a minor issue, for me it’s very annoying, Being GM I talk to many guys all the time. I’ve tried to get used to the new chat system and combat log, tried customizing them to get it better, but after 2 months I have come to the following conclusion:
New chat system and combat log suck.
Please bring back the original Vanilla chat system and combat log. And I want battle.net stuff completely removed from the game.
^^ that me btw, before u go say that I don’t even have 60.
And btw, in Vanilla we never had a realm-wide LFG channel, remove it from the game as well.

I would honestly prefer better intergration tbh so that I can see where friends are like I can with retail people.
Why is listing server-location not allowed for Classic? Don’t get it.
No, it needs to be removed.
Why? Because it wasn’t in real vanilla?
What difference does it make that I can see if my friends are in a dungeon/raid before I ask them to go do something?
And don’t tell me to put the char on my friendlist, some of them are on other Classic servers.
Put the char on ur friend list. If he is on other server u cant see anyway where he is even with real id.

Which is also exactly my point. My goal is to make sure that EVERYTHING that wasn’t in Vanilla is removed from Classic.
Literally not a single one of these changes makes the game better, while ALL of them make the game worse.
If only Blizzard devs could remove the Combat Log definitely, so no more issues.
This isn’t actually relevant but I have found a legitimate issue when it comes to the chat system.
I’ve reported quite a few gold sellers that use the channel invites and whenever I do, recent chat messages disappear, whether it’s whisper/guild/party or whatever it will go a few minutes backwards in time and the messages never return.
That’s nothing new, also if you report a few different goldsellers for spamming too quickly after eachother, Blizzard thanks you for your reporting service by disconnecting you from the game.
Doesn’t that just make you all the more happy to be doing their GM’s work for them? :^)
