Fix your game please?

I disagree:

All over-the-top, hyperbolic reactions, honestly.

My bad, i forgot smart people keep doing things that makes them unhappy on purpose when its 100% optional and no one is forcing them to participate

No if people begin quitting they lose money and if they lose money daddy gets angry and changes happen

For real

I dont want to quit my favourite game to get bugs fixed that dont allow me to get an achievement i have been working on for months, lol…

It just seems to me that you are not realizing the enormous scope of a game like WoW.
And yes, their QA team probably was gutted and we’re seeing the results of that. I’m not denying that; but you are not understanding the bigger picture and nuances that come with running a game as vast and complex as WoW on hard- and software across the world.

Can we complain about it? Of course.
But please keep it realistic.

Thats a choice you decide to make, but acting like you cant be understanding of things being a bit messy when a giant patch comes up is silly and immature and its a normal thing that has happened in most mmos.

It used to be the servers being down for days and weeks back in classic tbc wotlk etc u get the point and when they came up guess waht there was BUGS

Reddit or twitter would go more viral/get more attention.

These forums mean nothing.

End you sub, I mean… that’s what made them fix shadowlands when people dipped to play Final fantasy

Its like this every pre patch bugs would be great if they could fix those bugs sooner idd

Not nothing, but yes; you are right.

I’m glad I’m not involved with things like reddit and twitter, honestly.

my main issue is the radio silence about it. Since wednesday we didnt get a single update, not a single apology for it taking longer, not an ETA, nothing. As I said before, if i had customers that LOVE my product, i would not go into the weekend without updating my customers on the situation. It literally takes 2 minutes to write a post explaining some stuff, maybe give an ETA or if they cant atleast say “we will get back to u next week as soon as possible”

We got one single post on Wednesday and a known issues list which havent been updated since. There is no way you think this is acceptable.

Thats understandable though acting the way fragmented is, is childish, entilted and unreasonable

Sorry not sorry, im not gonna hold the devs’ hands and patting them on the shoulder and telling them awww its okay, you will fix the game in several weeks its okay kitten. No. The fact that they are still willing to advertise the pre patch with warband bank is actually absurd.

But thats not the devs thats advertising that, its the advertising/sales team?

Again be realistic and saying its reasonable big cahnges creates problems and they need time to fix it is not patting them on their back

The game is as it is probably not in small part because they are very happy with pre-order sales and current subscriber numbers across all WoW games.

So they can plan out the whole expansion schedule more rigidly and move on to the next phase in marketing. Blizzard is not the “when it’s ready” Blizzard anymore. They are ASAP-nomatterwhat-Blizzard.

There are various other reasons but just wanted to repeat the pre-order aspect and how it is a self-inflicted malady. By gamers on gamers.

Okay so im gonna repeat myself, the biggest issue is the radio silence. They should communicate way more with their community and its the lowest ammount of effort to do so. Most (not all but most) people would be extremely grateful to atleast know an ETA.
People literally cant do achievements now that they have been working on, reputations get reset, etc. The game is brokeeen.

And what if they give an ETA and have to push it further out? What then? people would get even more upset please think about the things you say

Then the people working on it are obviously bad at their job and should be replaced. We are talking about a multi millionaire company, not some random kids putting a game together.

I cannot play the content that i have paid to play. We’re going around in circles because of your inability to see the the issue through the eyes of someone other than yourself.

Or they simply are understaffed and dont have enough time for fixing everything?

It is a fundamental part of the game. i do not doubt that it is a difficult job, however they 're not new to this. and again, it is a fundamental part of the game that has clearly gone untested. This is not some random long forgotten thing that only i have stumbled up on is it.

Then make them work overtime. Oh wait, they cant, they unionized. Oh boy, its gonna get worse and worse as time goes on and you will still accept it for some unknown reason
