Hello, community and developers:
After a whole week living in BRD exactly Lord Incendius farming I have killed this boss over 400 times or even more i used a counter to count how many kills i did to calculate the drop rate of Flameweave Cuffs of Frozen wrath as wowhead suggests the drop rate of this item is 3.7% chance so 400/3.7 = 108 kills one drop.
Yet it didn’t drop at all 18 hours a day about 50-100 deaths 400 gold only from this boss with all the drops as random [item=11768] dropped insanely more than any other item .
And as you know this boss has a lot more of different drops such as :
1- [item=“11764”/] - with 15 different random enchants .
2- [item=“11767”/] - with 12 different random enchants .
3- [item=“11766”/] - with 16 different random enchants .
4- [item=“11765”/] - with 19 different random enchants .
and if you think about it no matter what hours you put into this farming if you get one of these items you need to be super lucky to get the specific enchant you need , i am not saying increasing the chance drop will solve this but really there are just too many items no matter what chance or rate it is those random enchants in each item is not ideal for a person to waste a whole week farming such item, i know some people will go and say just go for any optional or alternative or buy the Epic bracers bindings yet still +10 fire resist on that item is ideal for few builds .
I would like to suggest looking into this boss drops.
I am up in 120 kills trying to get either shadow dmg and healing bracers from him.
Guess what, i got your cloth frozen wraith unfortunately useless to me.
WoWHead data is just from players running a specific addon (correct me if I’m wrong). I wouldn’t trust it when it comes to such rare events as a drop of item with a specific suffix.
Also it’s all RNG. As Bodiesan said, next time you do it, you have a 3.7% chance to succeed. Sorry about that.
Personally, looking at the time you would have to invest to get a marginal upgrade over some of the next best in slot items, I’m choosing to do an instance as far as needed for my other purposes (quests and general blue bis drops that are far higher probability) then just forgetting those pipe dream items. There’s more important things to do in both life and WoW than futilely chase a 0.1% improvement. If the improvement is much larger then maybe.
