i read up on this, i myself did now 19 tribute runs and one of my guildies did 4 and it dropped, i know its random but does anyone has a slight clue what would be optimal to farm this, i read on wowwikki (needs updating?) that the dusty tomes have a 0.01% change to drop these yes folks that’s one in thousand. but i also read that the drop change of these things have increased in patch 1.10,
who has the answers i seek, what is optimal what should i do to obtain the infamous Quel’Serrar?
Small hint - the book can spawn also on ground, maybe you walk by it many times.

the only thing i have been doing is dm north tribute runs so far, and getting the crescent key in west

I know that desire for that last bis item can burn us out.
I will assume (your helm) that you already did MC and Ony, so is not like you need to have it or gtfo.
So my advise play and have fun, but keep an eye on ground and those benches for that rare book spawn;]
PS. Would be nice to know when you finally get it, and how you get it: drop, book spawn or bought from AH.

i actually had the left binding drop, so i got that going for me wich is nice, now for that Quel’Serrar, i will try to remember to post here if it eventually drops.

The optimal way would be to farm gold and buy it on AH. With such low drop chance you could farm for years and never see it drop.

Classic wowhead tells that only a few of the class trinket books can drop from those dusty tombs on the ground.
Real talk before getting that book you should delete char and reroll either gnome for pvp or human if you are a pve nerd

Would you rather have it and not have anyone to do Onyxia with, or rather not have it? Because I got it on a low pop server and I cry everyime I open my inventory and see the unfired blade sitting there, and only 2 guilds that do ony don’t recruit warriors or accept outsiders, and there are not enough people for a pug. I am just trying to show you that it can be worse than what you’re going trough

Does shadowmeld reset combat in classic? If it does, it’s great for charge.
Because you’re not some desperate tryhard in a 15 year old game and just wants to play what you want to play.

Shadowmeld is an out of combat ability in classic if i remember correctly.
Look for DMe jump runs.
It’s how we get our compendiums to sell.
Duo the instance with a shaman and herb,mine, loot books.
