You didn’t have to take the test? :open_mouth: I did pass mine but i struggled in some questions, like “How many likes has Puny given in Cowlevel thread?” and on “List 3 good reasons antiflyers have pointed out in threads about flying?” (it was trick question and answer was ofc 0 but i tried to be nice and messed that answer). I also think my essee on subject of “Motivations and moods in Bliz hates alliance threads” was not marked high cause i was getting tired already on that one.

The worst is the questions without answers to choose from :see_no_evil:

Thank goodness I took my test before they added the Classic Vs. retail questions, I had a look at those and I had no idea what to answer the question on the differences in rotations in those two games :grimacing:

Lucky you. I had to answer questions like which Ragnaros fight was easier molten Core or Firelands one.

And then my questionnaire included question of which one is more popular bfA or Classic.

Who cares about trust level anyway? I think we all can agree that it’s some retarded system made by Blizz, but what’s worth to grind it for months if you can lose it through one spicy comment? Keep on mind that if you don’t write for a few weeks you will lose it aswell, means if you unsub you can be sure that you’ll lose it. Also it’s bound only to one char aswell, so there is really not much to he jealous about cuz you have still the abtility </>

No, that’s just how Discourse works.

Even with the thing of switching your character or not scrolling through thousands of comments? Really? I had m8s which lost it cuz they weren’t very active mon. There are too many lacks in it. So it is some retarded crap made by Blizz. I keep right :fax:

Character switch, that I dunno how it works on other discourses. But the scrolling and such are all from Discourse yea.

It’s not like the most just use the high elf thread as template just to complete this nonsense.

That or Cow level thread I guess.
I avoid the high elf threads like the plague, at this point I’m just randomly browing GD and classic GD and that’s enough.

Yeah there’s a few limitations and downsides to it. The way I look at it is, when you have it - great. But if you don’t? the grind and maintaining it is enough to put off chasing it.

Yep… everything can go great one day and the next you say something not even that offensive(just covered in layers of sarcasm) and you get demoted again

I didn’t even get a warning or anything just got demoted for my (as far as I know) first offense. Boo!

Its a system that comes with a silver lining, bots and freshly created troll accounts cant post on the forums without writting a paragraph if they want to communicate their “troll” intentions. (this includes spam protection)

It can affect the innocent but its a fair way to promote good behaviour and punish the misbehaving individuals.

That’s why I don’t like MVP etc systems in forums, it gets tiring having to constantly censor yourself heavily due to worry that stems from wanting to keep said MVP type role. When you have something like trust lvl 3 or are a MVP of some sort in a community, you get held to a higher standard.

Exactly. It wouldn’t hurt if they’d loosen the reins a bit… not like the forum would break out into mass profanity all of a sudden.

I do think the point of the trust level system is to make people want to keep hold of it and not lose it, so it encourages better behaviour. That is specifically to do with this forum system on discourse.

I disagree that it’s anything to do with the MVP system though. People being helpful to others is not exclusive to trust levels or green text. I don’t think people post in a certain way hoping to be an MVP. I never thought I’d be approached, it had never crossed my mind but I was super excited to be asked.

Whilst I like a lot of the features of the new forums I do miss the old ones. I think these are more strict and we see many more bans. I also preferred being able to swear and it just turned it into symbols.

I was thinking more along the lines of similar MVP programs I’ve seen and been a part of. I don’t know the internal rules of the Blizzard one though
