Dear lord. I really hope they just make it possible to transfer out for free. I’ve made a mistake and joined a group of friends here during WoD & now I’m stuck and I don’t wanna transfer all my characters normally because it’s expensive AF. I think many of us will take the bullet & let OG members stay.

How is this still not happening? I wasn’t able to play at all yesterday and it’s pretty much guaranteed to be the same during the weekend. Just open the bleeding transfers already.
Please keep in mind that opening free transfers like this isn’t something support decides or has control over.
There are indeed some problems with the servers at the moment, and thank you so much for your patience with this so far. All the teams are working to get the servers smooth and stable but this unfortunately does take some time.

Support was totally bland and distasteful in my ticket and pretty much showed me they don’t care for me as a customer. As support, it’s your job to let dev/tech know of the issues players are facing and be an advocate for player satisfaction. Copy-pasting replies from a template for something that’s affecting thousands of people daily is just bad customer and consumer ethics. You didn’t have an issue taking my money for an epic edition of SL, or WoW Tokens, but I am currently locked out of all my characters on Draenor with no way of knowing when I’ll be able to enjoy the game I pay you monthly for. This is shameful and disgraceful. Get on calls with Dev or Tech and tell them that players are outraged. Provide unlimited free transfers to low pop realms for a month, so people can go back to enjoying the game they pay you good money for. Some Europeans live on small salaries and can barely afford to buy your game and you’re screwing them over. You should get a course or training on empathy and customer care, because you’re obviously severely lacking judgement or care. And this is coming from someone who’s certified in training customer support. If you want, reach out so I can teach you and your colleagues what your work ethic and consumer ethic should be.

We know well that Support is not in place to make any meaningful decisions, and we’re not asking for that either. You are supposed to escalate issues not in your scope, not to tell customers “sorry we’re not allowed to do that on CS”.
We as customers do not have any other means to contact your server operations or decision making organs, but through you.
In this case, you escalate the issue to whoever is responsible for that and later communicate the answer on behalf of those people.

Unbelievable they don’t realize that this is the most populated realm in EU and they got thousands of customers that arent able to play their characters, causing them to cancel their subs.
It should be pretty obvious that the top populated realms should be first priority to keep customer base happy, but sadly this has to be pointed out to a multi billion company.
Update:
I decided to couch up the 30 euros to move my character to a playable realm, but OH GUESS; I have unread mail so I need to spend hours in queue to log on to empty my mailbox.

“Not my responsibility” There’s a problem with the game, paying customers are complaining, that we can not use the product that your company provides, you are a payed employee from said company and that’s your answer? That’s just disrespectful and unprofessional.
That is neither disrespectful nor unprofessional.
They’re working as hard as they can.
Higher ups decided against free server transfers because they earn a lot of cash with the forced transfers here and don’t give it a greenlight.

playing since tbc and i didnt play in BFA because for the first time i thought it was not worth it. now came back with a hype in shadowlands only to come home from work relax and play wow. but the log in screen salutes me with 200+mins queue time… at this point im not sure why im still bothering with it because obviously i cant get what i paid for. please come up with a solution or provide a free char transfer from draenor otherwise you gonna lose a sub.
Day 3 now and still the same problem. The only time you can log in and play is early morning. Blizzard you need to give us free transfers with refund on the game time being wasted since we can’t log in. I’m not paying over €300 just to migrate my 9 characters due to your incompetence.
It’s not something support decides, but whoever makes the decision should probably consider it. Also, opening up free transfers is probably the simple solution to a big problem. You can’t honestly expect players to wait in queue 2-3 hours every time they want to login. It’s not fair on the people that actually have jobs and are unable to play until peak hours. So far blizzard has done a massive disservice to the community. Sad to see how much the support for this game has gone downhill since the Activision saga…
Really hope you guys fix the issues soon because as far as expansion content goes this is the best since Wotlk. It’s a real shame about all the issues and sadly that’s what many people will remember shadowlands for.

This is without doubt the worst levels of customer service I have ever seen, we have paid for a product that doesnt work, every day I cant get in I have to wait 2 hours, I work in health care I only have a few hours a day to play and try and take my mind of my job, I refuse and I pray no one else is paying for realm transfers I have a horrible feeling they are doing it to grab more money. They must offer realm transfers for free if they cannot fix these servers or a month sub for the quite pathetic coms and resoultion to us the customer. Doing nothing is completley unaceptable. I am hugely disappointed and let down by this organsation, I hope new MMO show bliz how to do it as they will only learn when they are put in a corner I think. No updates, very little coms, no support network, no offerings… without doubt the worst launch I have ever experienced. #shadowlands #draenor #broken #nolands

Still too soon for free transfers when people are paying the ridiculous price to transfer.
Then in a few weeks they’ll regret it and pay to move back.
