And you attack her… how nice.

It is good that people know they can now transfer if they want. It is also good that they get as much information about the transfer as possible. Punyelf has been giving information all along, not telling people to transfer against their will but advicing it’s available and how it works.

Why does it bother you so much that someone gives this info?

SO we get a free transfer away from Draenor yay, so log in, try to get onto my Draenor char screen and the BOLLSHAT starts there 2500 in que and a 2 hour wait…
So i let it tick down, finally get in, select the toon to move and low and behold yet another FOCKUP error … bunch of inbreads winging it at ever release at the exspence of the people who pay for this shAT

From what I tried and what others told me, you can’t transfer to Full realms.

A smart cookie (not me) suggested if you want to move to make a character on another realm and access the menu from there. I have not tried this myself but if you are at the back of a queue it might be worth a try.

I’ve tried it, you have to be on the realm you are going from to start the process.

Stormscale is the most ideal choice. It has a high population and is English speaking.

My main can’t get a transfer going. “an error occured”. My druid on the other got the transfer started, then “an error” and now I’m stuck connecting to the store. If I log out, I’ll have an hour if not more in queue to get back in. The 3rd character I tried to move has a pending transfer of 1d12h.

It is gonna transfer just give it time. This morning I had like 45 minutes wait for transfer with same error you have and still went through. Then transfered another one character from Kazzak to AD and got 3 hours wait, now its more than a day. So don’t worry

Yes! Can confirm this workaround.
If you have “active auctions error”:

  1. Select paid transfer, type in any realm destination.
  2. Go “continue” and wait for it to show Shop window.
  3. CLOSE SHOW WINDOW as soon as there’s an X to close (you won’t get charged).
  4. Go back to free transfer, it’s probably fixed. It might return a different error, but you will see the Processing indicator next to your toon’s name anyway.

And the people who already did the transfer with money? Do they get a compensation? A pet? A mount? Something?
