We do not get the option to move as we are not full per sa atm and aslo we have not had any que’s thus far and the server has been pretty stable through the first week .
Argent Dawn did not have any major connection issues therefore there is no reason to provide AD players FCT.

So be fair Silvermoon has no queues for last 3 days and still get a free transfer.
The point is, during the times when they offered the FCT - there were issues recently. Also according to wowprogress, AD is just slightly over 1/3 of the Silvermoon population while Silvermoon belongs to the 3 EU TOP realms.
There is literally no reason for AD to have FCT. The system is already flooded with requests it would have been even worse after making them available for realms just for fun.

Leveled hunter all week at different times no queues… From last Thursday i think.
Ok, so the transfer of this toon just completed, that’s great but it means that the timer is really misleading. Hopefully other peoples start coming through as well.

That’s good news! Congrats on your transfer, I did mine earlier tonight and heading to Stormscale! How long did it take you in total?
Just so I can relax, can I also ask if you had any errors before your transfer went through? When I completed my transfer it said there was an error, but the character has the usual transfer cog wheel next to it, and I’m unable to log into it because of the pending transfer. I presume I’m safe then!

I started mine last night and I had the same error as you but I had the cogwheel and an eta, so thats all fine. The initial eta was 1 day 6 hrs which would have meant completion at around midnight the following day. However, it got down to about an hour to go and then suddenly jumped to 1 day 18 hours which was a bummer but then an hour later it completed and now 5 of the 6 toons I moved over have completed the transfer.
My advice to you and anyone else is be patient and don’t worry if the timer suddenly jumps. If my experience is anything to go by then it should be fine and you can expect a 24 hour turnaround hopefully.
I have moved to Stormscale as well, see you in the AH neighbour

The migration is now complete it took in total 30 hours~

I recommend you doing your maw daily and to interact with Blanchy and start the transfer early on the day so you dont miss a fully cicle and fall behinde.

How do I know that character is eligible for free transfer? Why there is no eligible realm list posted as usually when transfers are open?
Shop in-game > Free Transfer option is available if you’re eligble.

I initiated my transfer at 22:00 UTC on Sunday, today still say 1d 12h
If I had not used the transfer service I would been 60 already but now I’m falling behind cause of congested servers…

If you are not prepared for up to 50 hours in transfer, do NOT start a free transfer!
I’ve been waiting for soon 24h and people on reddit claiming up to and over 50 hours.
There’s no good indicator for this wait time when you initiate.
It’s is absurd, i would rather choose the queue times.
@Halysire: You can relax, the errors seem to hit just about everyone, but the cogwheel does appear and as others have posted, people are getting through, though slowly. My hunter has gone down from 1 day 22 hours to 1 day 3 hours in the 10,5 hours that have gone since I initiated the transfer. Have not looked at my monk this morning yet.
@Soulrender: I assume they are closing FCMs as activity levels drop and the rate is not the same for all eleven? realms affected.
30 hours some say. My first transfer on alts took about 8 hours. I’m waiting since sunday 2200 utc and still say 1d 12h left
I started the transfer on Sunday with a 1day 17hour estimate. I waited it out patiently and today, excited to play, I was looking at a 6 minute estimate. After refreshing the client the, hoping the transfer might have happened, my estimates jumped back to 1 day and 19hours? Is this just an occurrence when it doesn’t know what else to show after reaching 0, or am I actually looking at a 4 day (84 hour) transfer?
Jesus, that’s the highest i’ve seen someone claim so far

How are transfers taking this long? Is there anything this indie company can get right? its been 24h for me now, said 7h left earlier now its up on 12h left estimate… Lets hope for a christmas miracle on the 24th and all our free transfers go through then.
My main has been transferring from Draenor to Stormscale for over 36 hours - right now it says 1 day and 6 hours remaining. This is beyond me.
