Could be temporary, whilst investigations are under way.
I support the idea that his NPC was temporarily removed whilst this is under way.
It’s respectful towards the person who made the allegation.

But the situation is pretty much her word, no proof and no way to prove anything. So it’s not temporary is it?
If he’s innocent, they can just put the NPC back in.
And at the end of the day, I forgot he even had an NPC anyway.
WoD did cause a lot of people to forget a lot of features - and with good reason. I quit for WoD and only came back a few months before Legion, to get the ring for my night elf mage.
I didn’t know either, think I heard it once somewhere, but the act of removing it, kinda supports the claim of his ex, in a way.
Like, there was absolutely no need to do it, not like anyone even knows about it.
By doing so they side with her, before he even got a chance to say anything, with no proof given by her, at a time where there is a mass report of sexual abuse tweets, and already some are either confirmed as fake, or the accusers are going back on their accusations.
But you are also taking an active stance to defens him. Wvat if they are true? Then what?
Removing an Npc doesnt equate taking a stance either cus it has zero real impact.
It does have an impact, by removing a tribute to someone, you pretty much cast them out.
I’m taking a neutral stance, as Blizzard should’ve. Let the situation resolve itself, then go for condemning someone.
It’s like with Johnny Depp when they crucified him as abuser, and it turned out to be the opposite, and the damage was already done to him.
Youre openly hinting that you think the allegations are false with your wordings and tone, thats not a neutral stance.
I’m openly hinting that there’s enough of fake ones in last few days, that we should let the situation be handled and investigated before shooting for the accused.
I can link some stuff if you’d like reading material, there’s girls that are using this situation to jump on the wagon, to accuse their exes of sexual abuse and rape, because their relationship didn’t work out.

Here’s one, she says it’s rape because they broke up.
If you actually go look at the swifty accusations the evidence is quite compelling, not to mention the multiple testimonies from multiple women across multiple years, the pattern of behaviour is clear.
Can you post that evidence here? I don’t want to take a word of someone else on forums, but if you have evidence, then that’s something actually solid.
Again though, fake allegations doesnt invalidate any other ones, period.
You’re also in every post saying things like this: “Other girls have done it too, its just his ex, its just her word”
None of what you are posting is a neutral stance, its a biased and intentional or not, defense and taking his side.
A neutral stance would be more what Leía has said so far with her posts.
I’m not saying because some lie, all lie, that would be silly.
I’m saying, wait for evidence, something concrete, before crucifying someone.
And I’m not taking his side, taking his side would be believing he’s innocent, I believe there isn’t enough proof to make a stance, therefore it’s neutral, and any acts like removing the npc from game without evidence there, would be going into non-neutral.
Oh cool so you haven’t read them, just real quick since you’re so eager on the defence. What in your own words is the accusation against swifty?
Removing a single NPC from an already forgotten expansion isnt crucifying someone though.
As Leía said, if he is innocent, put it back in if its such a big deal. If not, its respectful to the situation & potential victim until more is known. It’s not like he was fired by them.
Well at least he wasn’t banned before any investigation.
The tweets? I have read them few days ago. Why do you assume I haven’t? “Oh cool so you haven’t read them” seems definite, not even a question if I read the tweets.
What’s the accusation?
Nevermind that was the wrong thing!
If I recall, 2 girls were at his place, and Swifty and his girlfriend tried to kiss one of them. And then when she was leaving, the girlfriend tried to make her stay, but Swifty hugged her and said “Okay”. Was few days ago, so don’t remember details.
Was there something else?
And like you say, it’s not exactly a well known NPC anyway.
I think I can safety say that at least 95% of the playerbase forgot about it or didn’t even know it was in.
If the NPC was in a more successful and recent expansion (Legion), then more people would probably know about it.

This is the original tweet, and its alot more than just what you claim. Peer pressure into sex is one of the “lighter” ones at best.
One of the heavier allegations is this:
She was pressured into having sex with one specific guy, and Swifty swapped places with him without her consent.
