Blizzard closing down transfers to Gehennas is more than enough evidence that the Firemaw → Razorgore → Gehennas exploit was not meant to happen.

Just because you didn’t mean for it to happen doesn’t mean when it does happen, it’s an exploit.

Ah yes, righting the wrong by wronging another group of people (Gehennas players) by potentially bringing hours long queues to them.

Then why was Gehennas open for free transfers if it was already considered close to overpopulation?

An oversight/mistake, obviously. It wasn’t close to overpopulation, it was overpopulated, it now has more players than Firemaw. They weren’t intending for thousands of Firmaw players to go there, they were intending to allow the small handful of remaining players on dead servers to go there.

Blizzard has succeeded in killing the last remaining balanced server almost overnight, while also turning Gehennas into the highest population EU realm, which will suffer the same issues Firemaw had before it was locked.

Why can Razorgore transfer into Gehennas in the first place? Previous FCTs didn’t include Gehennas and Firemaw as destination realms, but Razorgore suddenly has the option.

Yeah, but that’s not reasonable, imagine your guild/friend group deciding to move to another realm and they suddendly cut-off the transfers midway when half the members got to it.

LOL do you really think that Gehennas wouldn’t be completely locked soon? That Blizzard message just started a mass panic.

Firemaw Horde are trying to flee while they can and Horde in other smaller realms, who thought about transferring, understand that this is their last chance to pay for the move untill Gehennas would be locked even for paid transfers.

This is just blackmailing paid transfers from players by Blizzard with their favorite pressure method of scarcity factor.

You can’t free transfer from Firemaw to Gehennas, directly.
The trick is to use free transfer first from Firemaw to Razorgore and then from Razorgore to Gehennas.

Haste pots are about 3x as expansive tho.

Peaked to 90g/5 at some point.

What you do is find a realm with a free transfer to gehennas that you can move to from Firemaw, then do it in two steps. and do it NOW!!! If you don’t you might get stuck on the low population inbetween realm.

They did. I transferred my main from Gandling to Gehennas a few months before FCM, and when FCM got enabled moved all my alts for free.

Was that before the second FCT wave? I don’t remember details on the first FCT wave but I am like 99,99% sure that the second FCT wave which had Noggenfogger didn’t have Firemaw and Gehennas as destination realm options.

I had luck to found out i could transfer an alt for free because i linger in the forums.
But your average Joe won’t get to know nothing lmao.
