Same thing happens to me,
Network connection drops completely for about 5-8 sec then comes back on only when in wow.
I tried replacing my switch flushed the dns even did a dsim repair nothing helped.
Did anybody find a solution on how to fix this ?
Blizz please address this cuz the game is unplayable, at least give us a blue post acknowledging that the problem exists.

Update
for the past 2h i am pinging google and connection is fine until i start wow.
When wow is running connection drops completely for around 10 sec and then reconnects and then just keeps dropping connection every few minutes sometimes 15 min sometimes 3 min sometimes 1 h.
in all honesty this is unacceptable i would understand that only wow looses connection but with your incompetence you are making my entire pc lose connection for a few seconds. That is not acceptable what are we paying you for ?
This thread is now almost 2 months old and still no answer from anybody.
If your game is affecting my network is it affecting anything else ? Should i expect my pc to die if I play your shi**y games cuz somebody is not doing their job.
Have same type of problems, pretty fed up with it now.
See people running on the spot etc, know I am going to get disconnected. Get disconnected, log back in, rinse and repeat.
Support were a joke, told me to look on the forum! And if not take my computer to be fixed at a shop. I mean seriously.
I am not losing my network connection like everyone else, it is only wow that is affected. But its getting ridiclous now.
Anyone managed to find a solution yet or had the problem go away?
Not even a reply from blues. Did they fire all of them or are they just conveniently hoping people give up and stop playing?
I have the same problem. Random DCs while playing. Its really frustating if it happens in a m+ run

If you look for similar topics started recently, youâll see the problem is still there and itâs either spreading or ppl start paying attention to it. But we still got zero replies. Hopefully, Blizzard is planning to investigate this issue like they did with Poland few days ago.
Only solution is VPN, looks like.
Iâve been getting this problem recently. Iâm not aware of any connection issues outside wow, but in game I get disconnected 4-5 times in an hour, often getting instadcâd again on login screen.
Thank goodness! I was thinking this was only me. Iâd checked the forums a few times and couldnât find a thing, no idea why this post wasnât showing up for me.
itâs around every 10 minutes or so I just get disconnected. It is only affecting my PC though, mac is fine and every other device is fine. Iâve tried restarting network adapters, everything is up to date, triple checked all drivers, literally everything. Tried with zero add-ons, tried with some add-ons, and all all add-ons. it makes zero difference. Tried seeing if anything would show up by looking at various netstats but nothing. Even tried scans and repairs on wow and deleting the wtf etc in pure desperation. It has been going on now for weeks and im so sick of it. Does anyone have any fixes?
Exclude your system first which my guess is you have done. I will assume you have.
If it is not your sytem then you need proof that it is outside sources that are dropping your connection via tracerts and , or, pings via the command line. THis is detective work.
Tracert is a command line command that traces packets from source to the destination and it will list all hops, or rerouting, by internet protocol addresses along the way in a nice and neat text output.
But you will need the IP address of the source to start the trace. But getting into all of this if you have never done any thing like this before, is like going to school to learn computers.
Find out what IPâs blizzard is using. If they trace to google then you are on the right track as at last count they dropped amazon cloud and went with google.
If you see any * in that list of hops then that is not a good sign and usually a problem.
When i do diagnostics and i only look when i am suspicious of the connection, i ussualy find * in that list indicating a problem⊠Have issueâs with a connection all of a sudden and it is lagging bad then catches up?
In 9 out of 10 you will see lots of * in tha list. That means those servers are refusing to give you the details you asked for such as their IP address or ping times. They are having âproblemsâ the nature of which you dont know. But you do know that the particular hop in questions is not working as intended and is the source of your issue.
This is a good tool to have to combat tec support who insist it is not on their end when you know otherwise. That is just one of many uses for the command and there are others that i wont get into.
I have fortunately found a solution ~1 week ago. I was previously on a Wired connection, but since I bought an USB WiFi Adapter (my motherboard doesnât have built-in WiFI) I have never disconnected again⊠I have then tried upgrading and downgrading my network driver a few times, but it did not solve the issue. For the time being, every time I play WoW (everything else works fine) I use the WiFi connection.
I hope this helps some other people.

I have the exact same problem, at times I can play for reasonable times without disconnecting and other times I have multiple in a 30 min period. The strange thing is that I disconnect from battle.net, people on discord canât hear me anymore but I can still hear them during the disconnect. I canât open new webpages during this short windown either. When I run a ping - 1.1.1.1 I can see the disconnect happening but I have no idea what causes it.

Same issue here. Not a single issue on my entire network but WoW seems to disconnect randomly every now and then.
Iâd say it occurs at least once every 30 minutes. What makes it even stranger is that the internet internet connection (on the PC) seems to drop for a couple of seconds (can easily be observed when having a live stream open, for example).
This needs to be addressedâŠ

Problem is here. The same problem in Poland
Any fix to this issues yet?
Been having it for 3 days now. Everytime I open wow it takes about 5 - 10 minutes until my internet will be gone.
I can literally play any other game or be on youtube all day with no problems but as soon as I open wow my internet just shuts off.
You mean to tell me this has been going on since June?
I have the same issue. For the past three days, I get random disconnects. Entire Internet connection seems gone for a few seconds when this happens. I didnât think it could be possible that my entire connection gets wrecked by wow.
still happening at 01/11/2024 and still no reply from blizzard, unsub inc if itâs not resolved soon
