Firemaw PvP cluster - the biggest of all realms but also full of GDKP (and gold buyers) so AH prices are quote inflated.
Pyrewood Village PvE cluster - not as populated as the PvP cluster but still active with levellers and guild or pug raids. No GDKP here.
Zandalari Tribe - an abandonned RP PvP server, but people started levelling here recently as a semi-fresh server. Still low-pop but could be a noce place to start.
Note that there are free server transfers from Zandalar Tribe to Firemaw so your progress there is not entirely lost if it turns out the Zandalar project dies.
Sad thing is pyrewood only has under 800 players It would be extremely difficult to get any groups together for dungeons/ very time consuming and as you said firemaw is screwed, catch 22
I’d recommend pyrewood If you dont mind pve server. Bit though sometimes to find groups but you get to know players you come accross and has this sort of pserver feel.
I go 3 lvl 60s on firemaw but cant be arsed to play them. Constant spam of gdkp and boosting, inflated prices etc.
Rerolled on pyrewood and never looked back
From 1-60 you can efficiently level without dungeon unless you are just hard fan of dungeon runs. After 60 there is no problem finding guild to raid everything except nax. Regularly guilds in chat trying to recruit people like „Social Guild“
Others are advocating for ‘their’ space/server and it’s bias, the only real option is Firemaw simply because of population. If you make a character on the other two “options” I guarantee you’ll end up re-rolling on Firemaw.
The PvE cluster is significantly less populated…and I mean SIGNIFICANTLY. It’s also a PvE realm with little to no danger, resistance or challenge. If you keyboard turn, sit down to pee, click instead of keybind, trinket CS to eat a full KS, think that words can be “violence” or think that WoW is your “safe space” then yes, the PvE cluster might be the one.
The fresh project on ZT started well but these things do die out a bit naturally, when the first wave reaches endgame anyone new joining might get the feeling of being alone. WoW becomes a bit of a grind 40+ and when you realise that outside of prime time you will affectively be playing solo, well that just helps someone decide it might not be worth their time to continue. I will say I haven’t played on there so I could be wrong, just saying what generally happens with these things.
Not very bright. You’ve cut off the EXACT reason it’s not based on bias. I literally said “simply because of population” straight after your little snippet.
You are being bias because you NEED population hence every one of these threads there’s you and a few other PvE server ‘users’ quick to respond and try sell more people into the softplay area that is Pyrewood.
People need other people to play online games with you know, that’s why they would always likely choose the more populated servers. They don’t pay a sub to play alone 80% of the time with the chance of a lowbie dungeon maybe…maybe between 6-9pm.
Well folks, the “reasons” I listed for playing on a PvE realm were meant to be a joke pointing out that people who play there might be just a tad bit sensitive. Could have even been bait…
Irony being, they’ve just helped prove that by trying to mention the big bad forum rules, idgaf about those or you flaunting them to get one up. Report it as spreading “hate speech”, hell report it for anything you like… Doesn’t change the fact your too sensitive.
And that’s ok. But there are quite a few people who prefer other playstyles.
Not everyone likes GDKP-, boosting for profit-, inflation infested, gankiong ripe mass servers.
Personally i.e. I do not care much for the auction house. If it’s there, fine. But I’ve no problem if it’s empty either.
I usually manage on servers starting with around 50+ people playing on my side. To most other players that’s not dead, it’s wasteland. That’s actually all that’s needed for a working guild.
