Hello everyone, I am a fresh wow player. On the internet I found tutorials on how to gearowac a character, you need to start by taking a quest from ‘Therazal’. This dragon in Valdrakken, however, the problem is that I do not see this quest. What should I do? Do I need to complete some other quests first? Please help, greetings:)
Do i need to end the ‘campaing’ first?

On your first character you need to do the campaign in order to unlock things like World Quests etc.
What is the quest name you are trying to find?
i think its: aiding the accord: emerald bounty
Ah the weekly quest, yes the Emerald Bounty would require unlocking the Emerald Dream via the campaign first.
You should get an alternative option from them. That quest, however, is available while levelling though, so have you already completed it this week?
I just went on an alt to check what the other choice was
I have not completed, I do not have the ability to take this quest I do not know why. It just stands empty npc.

See if you’ve already completed this by typing:
/run print(C_QuestLog.IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(70750))
It will return ‘true’ or ‘false’
It seems there may be a bug
but the article does state you need to complete the Campaign.
So what should i do now? Should i report it and just wait? Anyways thank u very much for help! I thought i need to end some campaing or smth.
Could you get it from the journal instead?
Not having access to that quest shouldn’t stop you from being able to gear. So you can go do all the usual activities to gear up, Time Rift, Dreamsurge, once you unlock the Emerald Dream there are some weekly quests there that give reasonable gear rewards too.
I’m sorry but you never mentioned this:
Have you reached level 70? Have you completed the dragonflight campaign?(Just don’t ask me to spell it achievement)
I’m lvl 70, as far as campaign quests are concerned I haven’t completed them.
You need to, at least once on one character.

All the quests from the Campaign yes?
Until the point you have the achievement ‘‘Just Don’t Ask Me to Spell it’’ that is for completing thaldrazsus. After that you can unlock the patch zones and so on ^^
It depends what you want to do, if you specifically want to see the whole story then you’ll need to do the campaign. If you want to gear from certain open world activities then yes you need to do the campaign.
However you can gear without it but if it’s your first character wouldn’t you want to see the story? I know not everyone cares about doing the story. You can ignore all the side quests ofc.
Puny, things are locked behind the campaign, like shadowlands. They have to do it once.
