Title. Same amount of layer as Sod launch but it feels so empty this time around. Is it because of Hardcore server? Because that server is also having too many people so playerbase split between them.
Otherwise there wouldn’t be any mobs to kill.
It’s the layering and it was EXACTLY the same with SoD fresh PvP, if you didn’t experience this on SoD you got quite lucky.
I understand why blizzard does this, but I think the way they do it is so bad, particularly for PvP servers. Layers should be by zone and not across the whole server.
Example, under current system if there is 15000 people all trying to level in Barrens, Westfall, Silver pine, Dark shore and the starter zones, then ofc maybe these zones will need like 15 layers. However when you then go to say, Redbridge, and there are only 1000 people there, under the current system this 1000 people will be split amongst the same number of layers.
It would be much better if blizzard made it so that when you enter red ridge in this scenario, there are only say, 5 layers, or whatever is actually needed to handle the pop whilst still making it feel alive.
I suspect blizzard doesnt have this technology though
If there’s no layering it’d be infested by the bots, just go to the cave right to Orgrimmar and experience a Chinese highway ingame.
