That is true, most people did, but if you knew that you could choose that means you knew what was happening.

I see why you are annoyed, something similar happened to me in Conan, but I actually did lose all my characters, unlike you who just had them moved, but just coming to the forums once would have told you what was happening.

The misstake with SOM whas for ex the xp boost and speed of content. The wast majority of players who love classic vanilla are not raidloggers who only want 60 fast and raidlog. The majority love the adventure 1-60 and then the end game. Its a marathon not a sprint. They made SoM for the raidloggers

They were obviously told by a GM to come and post in the forums to raise their issue. Akara doesnât even know they say that to stop you making more tickets and no one from Blizzard looks at these forums except to ban people.
No one can help Akara, not even the GMs and they just wonât accept that. They have two choices, play Wrath or start again in Era. There are no other choices and they cannot accept that.
Their posting here is just them venting and will do absolutely no good.

You ignore the effort many of us have done for months to make Era grow. To say we owe you that we are growing is simply not true.
As for your second point, you could not have explained it better â according to you SoM had flaws, and TBC/Wotlk are too retaily. And now you want fresh⌠what will you want tomorrow? Classic+? Fresh again? TBC?
This mentality is what has ruined WoW. You say Classic is not a sprint but a marathon⌠lol Did you level up during Classic? Did you know the farming guides that were out there in P1 to make money during all subsequent phases? The constant AH gambling by elite guilds? Did you see how people took it upon themselves to rank up at all costs during P2 despite destroying whole server communities? Did you see the Alliance premade meta in WSG/AB and the 1h long AV Qs b/c no Allies would ever Q?
Do you even remember Naxx being released just after 4 months of AQ release b/c people were leaving the game in droves? Do you remember the massive drop in pop during the whole of P6?
Classic Era is about a MMORPG community, definitely FAR from what you preach here which can be summarized in âBlizzard, please give me what I want - But what I want will change tomorrow and the day after tooâ.
Unfortunately it is true the majority wants this. But do not count us out ok? No need to disrespect nobody for wanting a playing community, stability, no rat race and the possibility of keeping progress at your own pace.

You miss the fact that Classic started to grow thx to WOTLK. Not even speaking of inevitability of hype for Lich eventually burning out.
And what about people that want to return (and stay) in TBC? I know we might be a minority but I want to re-experience progress in TBC one day. Doesnât have to be right this instant.
Thatâs why I will support a fresh reset, but only after Wrath runs itâs course.
I believe that people will be once again nostalgic for Classic, moreso than people will be hype for Cata. When classic launches again weâll hopefully get TBC, too.
It was a mistake to rush out Wrath after only little over a year of TBC, and it was an even bigger mistake to not give us TBC era servers.
I think you overread my first message. I know people come to era because they wanât classic and they would like a fresh start. I donât see in anyway how that is misscrediting eraplayers efforts.
On my second post. No its not give me what i want. I playes classic, then did tbc and then went SoM because i love classic vanilla. I want fresh because i think that should come in intervalls. Why? Because i love lvling in vanilla. I did experience all that you wrote. But thats a communityproblem. I whas on ZT RP-pvp, we dident have that in the same amount as regular pvp servers.
But imo alot of the minimaxing do destroy they game, powerlvl in dungeons, economic-AH stuff etc. P2 pvping is another storry. Thats a communityproblem were the majority of players actualy dont want pvp even if they gladly say they want. PvP server are wpvp, if you just stand in org/sw waiting for bg pop you can aswell stay on pve server tbh.
And yes i do think i would love some changes. For example they could change honorsystem so P2 dont become the shi*fest it whas.
The end of the day. The people who actualy ruin wow are the meta-minimaxslaves that try to âcheatâ the game to get as much profit as posible.
But this will return with every fresh. Why not just you stay in Era and level. Every start is a fresh. If you not sent everything from Main to alt. Is good as is!

I would love this. I would love to start over (for the third time) on a fresh classic realm and be on an equal footing with everyone else, try making the journey on a different class, maybe on the other faction.
Could it be an idea to gather a group of players, create a discord/guild, and roll on era? If you want it as fresh as possible, pick a dead realm/cluster. For myself, i really donât see the difference between era and fresh, that there is a small group of geared players has 0 impact on my experience besides bgâs. Youâll have to farm some raids before entering a wsg i assume. Iâve been enjoying era, and i got a lvl 1 horde on Firemaw ready to go if i can find some people who want to do dungeons together.
If they do that, it will be just their group on that realm. If it is fresh vanilla, there will be other groups and players.
what do ppl do on era after clearing naxx/having full nax gear? for me classic era is like jump in at 4 am and kill zebras at crossroads chillaxing
