From an English realm to an Spanish realm?

Hello, I’ve tried several topics to get some more information.
One month ago there was a possibility to transfer from Gehennas to Earthshaker or bloodfang I’m not sure. After playing a while it came to notice that the realm I transferred to was almost dead. After a few weeks, I noticed another realm transfer was possible to Mandokir. I thought this is great, blizzard might have noticed that the realm is dying and are transferring characters over to different realms. This is the worst decision I’ve ever made, I did not know the realm they transferred me to was SPANISH… For a new player, it could have at least stated clearly that the realm was Spanish. Now the character I’ve spend the most time in is playing in a Spanish realm, I don’t even speak Spanish… I’m literally trying to have a conversation with people with google translate, what an experience.

I just hope that there will be an option to transfer my character to an English again, I really don’t care which one as long as it’s an English where I can speak with people without google translate.

Yes, I do understand this was not a smart decision but we all make mistakes and tbh it was not clearly noted that the transfer was going to a Spanish realm.

Well, at least it’s a great opportunity to learn a new language, I suppose…

You could try talking to a GM about reverting your transfer. They might not be able to do it for you, but there’s no harm in trying.

I would like to, but how do I get in contact?

You can do it via the website you’re currently on. Press “support” at the top right of the page, above your character’s avatar.

On the next page underneath support and character name, there’s “my tickets” and “contact support”, you want contact support.

Usually there’s lots of automated services to deal with things, but your issue isn’t available there, so you’ll just have to describe what happened and see if they can help.

As a native Spanish speaker, while playing WoW was for me a great chance to improve my English, I would not recommend the Spanish version of WoW to anybody, not even other Spanish speakers. Translation horrors still haunt me to this day.

Well, my post was mostly a joke.

I see what you mean, this is why I play on EU servers myself. Russian translation may not be bad, but it completely ruins the immersion for me.

Yeah I sensed the sarcasm, just adding my experience :stuck_out_tongue:

Not long ago there were some posts about the Russian client; it seems it wasn’t good either.

That sounds like an experience indeed. I hope Support can help you out, and that you can laugh about it soon!

Bro ive done exactly the same, i’ve transferred my level 33 human mage to the exact spanish server you mentioned, ive been trying to find topics and help or support to revert this issue or somehow get it resolved, please keep me updated if you receive any luck with this post, WOW IGN - Swampletiqs

@Lariaz, lol wtf… No it’s not me with another char. apparently there are other people with the same problem and no one is acknowledging the issue… There must be something that could be done.
