I just have different standards. I want to inv people on my level, not ones that I am willing to carry. I have enough of those already.

I can tolerate many people but if my goal is to push keys then I met only 1 guy so far. If pugs had so many people to offer with similar skill level, we wouldn’t even need a “friend list” or community in the first place.

You are nowhere near “push” territory. The reason why you need a premade to push keys is because you require coordination to pull off high keys. And be definition, PuG groups dont have any coordination. How could they ? None are in Discord with you !

And this coordination dosent just fall from the sky. You need to work on it. Grow it with your teammates. That is why you need a friends list, so you can group up with people and grow with them. You dont just add people that are at “your level” and call it a day.

The fact that you havent realized this yet literally tells me that you have no idea what pushing is all about.

Also, I am not using the friend list wrong, I understood long ago that it’s nothing but an extended LFG list, it just doesn’t change the fact that I only met one guy who I did add.

Sounds to me that you want to use the friends list to get yourself boosted, instead of trying not to boost people.

You use it wrong. Literally 10 people here have said otherwise. I myself use it with great success. But you only managed to have ONE person add you, or you add them ? How bad of a player / douche you have to be to ONLY have 1 person added ? Its EXTREMELY suspicious…

I literally said in my post I don’t personally agree with this situation. And that Blizzard should do something, and I even said WHAT they have to do.

But I also said that they haven’t done anything yet. So for now, the only option is to get more Rio OR to stop playing until they do something.

Technically you don’t need to be bad to die while dying does not make you bad either. Not long ago we had a healer leaving because he somehow thought he would be boosting. We did SV, after second boss with 4 people in time.

1 anecdotal example dosent change a general rule.

Currently m+ is a complete disaster. It took me 3 hours of constant attempts to get into the group and all in vain. As non meta class it is impossible (demo lock 2819 rio). This is the first time I am considering quiting this game for good. I do hope they continue to keep that dev who came up with this idea to create 12+ keys threshold in future seasons as well as it will help people to quit this game for good and consider playing other games.

Exactly. People are so afraid of getting their keys depleted that they ONLY let meta specs in. This is really poor game design. All classes and specs should be relatively close in terms of power. I’m being forced to play a meta class to climb, and that’s just awful. I mean, I play a DH; going Vengeance wouldn’t even help me out since other tanks are much more sought after.

I’ve already quit for now. I’ll be back for season 2 if things change, but I doubt it, knowing how Blizzard is. I’m just going to entertain myself with Classic Fresh in the meantime

I will get cocky this time with you. Because my premade did not fall from the sky. It came from playing with a ton of people form my friend list until I “clicked” with some people. It was first with 1 and 2 people for most of DF, and finally I managed to build a 5 man group this season.

No. I found a TON of people in DF. I played with a TON of people in DF.

But I only “clicked” with a couple of them. And those are the ones that formed part of the semi-premade in DF. And it took a while because new people have to click with me, AND with the other people of the premade as well. And eventually, I formed a 5 man premade.

Well… I did not build the premade… it just happened naturally between 5 people that wanted to play together, regardless of key level. Because we had fun together.

That is why I have 300 people on my list. And that is why adding just 1 guy at a time is not the way it works. As so many people already explained.

Do you get to 630 ilvl and suddenly notice the class YOU CHOSE to play doesn’t have M+ utility? That’s crazy. It’s like the time i ran in to beat up this rogue in pvp and my character started casting spells. Turns out i was a caster! i had no clue! who could have known!?

Never said that, the game isn’t just M+. Raiding and PvP makes M+ even further out of whack. Although sometimes i wish it was M+ only in this game

If you want to be completely inflexible and just play 1 class/spec forever then good luck to you. Blizzard always has bad balance. Every single expansion/season something ends up ahead, it’s not possible to be perfectly balanced for all situations.

If your class becomes meta guess what, there’s a new you that’s a different spec crying on the forums. The game will never be “balanced” because that doesn’t exist, it’s better to learn multiple roles/specs/classes and just have fun

I just did not play with the same 4 people all the time. Now I do. That is all that changed ! And I took ZERO time to start building up that list. Literally the 1st week I started doing M+ years ago I already had 30 or so people to play with.

Fact of the matter is that I waited ZERO minutes in LFG and pushed to high levels with an F tier trash spec (like you claim to be).

So keep saying “I dont see it”… YOU dont !
