FRUSTRATED! Mythic plus

You make it a fact, it could be that sometimes you need to give a group of people more time to adjust to what you expect, or where you would like to play.

The tread itself was about someone not getting into a +8 key and how to achieve that. But the same logic to a certain degree, can be used towards your situation. If you reject everyone before hand based on one key and not willing to grow as a team to achieve your goals, then you might not achieve them.

First of all, I’m not. I’m trying to get into a group for the long term, but people don’t want me because they probably have better options. People are not jumping up and down for a Demon Hunter, just so you know.

And again, this shouldn’t be the solution when other classes don’t suffer from this particular problem.

Life itself isn’t fair, the big illusion

I gave you a list of 5 discords that form groups in a nice and chill enviroment and they all do high keys 11+ and upwards its up to you to join them and make use of them

The general vibe you give in this discussion that “only few people are worthy enough to play with me” attitude.

Depends on each’s goals. Finding folks to do some +10s, +11s together instead of solo-dps queues. Yeah easily possible. Recruiting for your MDI team? Not so much…

BLizzard tried that back in WoD. To be able to queue for HC dungeons, had to pass the proving grounds. For me the proving grounds was… a test to prove if you can tie your shoelaces on your own or not. Yet the general forums was simply flooded with the cries and tears of “evil BLizzard gatekeeping them”.

Bro, I can’t even take you seriously for commenting this. So basically, you’re saying Blizzard should delete Havoc as an option to play? Are you really this dumb? It’s the class I like. You even mentioned before that Demon Hunters should get more utility, which is what I’m suggesting. You clearly aren’t the brightest, are you?

Yeah I remember. You needed silver, it was beyond a joke how easy it was. Even the endless modes were. But players are going in to content they shouldn’t be, blizzard should make sure they are ready for it. Simple test np.

There’s no reward past 10 so put the test to do 11+, so no content is gatekept. Literally just Rio, headaches and title

Ye not my fault. I’ve even been sending personal messages without any luck so far. Again, people are not waiting to premade with a Demon Hunter. Way better options out there to climb

Hahaha. Try telling them. Will get bombarded and burned at the stake for being a “toxic gatekeeping elitist” and they pAY the SuB too!

Sure why not. As long as the test cannot be “cheesed” or simply outgeared and brute forced down.

Whats the point of this.

Anybody can interrupt, press a CC or defensive in a vacuum.

A large part of M+ is how you adapt to oopsies that are thrown at you.
Extra pack gets pulled, how does the group react?
All kicks on CD and an important cast is going through, how does the group reacts and so on.

Last group I was in, EVERYBODY kicked the first cast of a mob where the second one is the dangerous one. Sure, you might get points in your single player PG for kicking in 0.0001 sec. But you’re in the group with a prot pala, apply some situational awareness and brains (PG teaches you that? Naw)

The fact that people kicked is already a major improvement over your average pugs who can only complain that they have to move out of the fire because “muh dps”.

There is nothing much to assume when you are literally portraying yourself exactly like this.
But sure, think what you want mate. I have no interest in debating on why you are one of those that think they are mile above of everyone else they meet.

Not gonna get dragged into those half IQ discussion you usually drag on for days with whoever you end up engaging with on this board.

Telling OP to “just make friends” while they are DPS DH is pretty bad advice. Just like IRL you have to be someone people want to be friends with.

It’s like saying “just be yourself” to someone who is currently terrible. OP needs to change spec or wait until Havoc DH is meta again.

On the contrary. Its the best advice one could receive. One of my old friends whom I meet back in BfA was a shadow priest main and fan. And shadowpriests then where… well there are F tier classes then shadowpriests where G tier then. Any pug group would insta decline them so he started too look for m+ buddies instead and meet me on my rogue lol.

If your class is not A tier at least then making m+ contacts is your only shot if you want to see m+…or you can roll the dice and hope for better times in the next season as you mentioned before.

Well I can’t control feelings of others. But I’d rather discuss topics on what’s said, not what’s felt.

I think doing +12 (around 3 weeks ago) is not something I’d consider a MDI team.

Wdym? You literally assumed I was playing with a guy far above my skill level while also made an assumption about my skill. And what exactly did you base this on? I can’t see anything but your own guesses and feelings here. Try to use some facts.

The difference between you and me is that you made and throw around assumptions based on nothing. I make conclusions.

I didnt say otherwise. With the way the system is now, you are better off looking outside of lfg. That doesnt mean that system is fair or good the way it is. Ideally, every class would bring something why you WANT them in their group. But with the way the system is designed now, you either use one of the multiple ways outside of lfg, pick a different class, or expect to wait a long time to get into groups.

It’s always funny how quickly you can understand the perspective of the people who are very picky on their keys.

Try running your own keys, +3, +5, +10, doesn’t matter, and instead of picking the people with the best track record, simply pick whatever person comes first, regardless of class, spec, score, raiderio whatever. After you’ve bricked 3-5 keys because of trolls, bad players, leavers, you will start getting veeery picky with who you invite too

If you run your own key, this isn’t a problem since you’re the one doing the picking and you get the privilege of being as picky as you want, the same thing that felt very unfair when you were on the receiving end of the bargain. But maybe the people complaining about this “problem” just never even consider running their own key, so they only see one side of the story.

Playing a class that depends on being top dps to be taken is a horrible idea.

It’s much safer just playing a hybrid. You also have to chance to play tank/heals if you wish. Everyone season either druid/paladin is decent in some form.

“i play only DH and i demand people take me” is the reason DH players are so zug brain. So many are that mentality and intelligence

It’s the only class/spec I enjoy in retail WoW. I’ve always been a team player. I interrupt, single stun, AoE stun, and even use cage as an extra interrupt. If Blizzard isn’t providing me with more tools to be productive in dungeons and to be considered a viable option, then the mistake is on their end, and they should fix it.

I’m going to stop playing for now and wait until season 2 to see if there are any changes coming to the DH class. In the meantime, I’ll be playing Classic Fresh.

It’s hilarious how many more people sign up for my keys when I let another DPS list it, or how my IRL friend who plays a frost mage gets into groups more easily, even though he’s a much worse player than I am without them knowing. So yes, it’s a very frustrating experience and not worth my time.

Besides every other reason, i won’t take DH because of Intertia. They die to random stuff as a result. Like the old momentum build, it’s a liability. How can you have any fun using movement for dps. I would do literally anything else.

It’s not going to be removed this expansion.
