Fun Things To Do While Waiting On Icecrown Rares 💅

Except for watching series or movies.

I’m talking about the actual social aspect of the game here.

So of the top of my head heres a few.

Farm the mobs in the immediate area where the rare will spawn and the chances are your faction will join you(at least some of them), some of the trash items that drop sells for 20-30 gold, and some greens sell for close to 100 gold(vendor), and you can get some scourge stones in the process.

And my personal favorite, is telling jokes from the below threads, spent almost 2 hours last night telling these jokes xD

Have a mini transmog contest!

Or a mount off!

It makes waiting a lot more fun.

Im headin ti fish the last secret fish just to have the miniaturized ocean and spend the time between a rare and another fishin.

That’s what I do. I set up the ocean, tell everyone that it drops all the fishing mounts in the game and then we all start fishing.

The only reason is the bag from Bronjahm, the Scourge stones and the Accursed Keepsake.

not if you dont want:

  • the badges for the npc gear stuff
  • catch up gear that might drop from bosses (no unique stuff though)
  • a 34 slot bag
  • the blue proto dragon from Skadi
  • that weird keepsake thing which does nothing except spawn a ghost which follows you

if you dont want anything of the above you can completely ignore the event.

:smile: yeah okey…but no idea how many people actually buy it and the drop rate is abysmal. (probably enough richmons out there who buy it tho)

you can farm the argent accommodations and buy the pet and sell them later on the AH

I just play Assassin’s creed: Valhalla while waiting on the rare I want something from.

Crashing the boat onto land so it bugs out and sails at a 90 degree angle is so much fun!

I’ve started to queue for some pvp pet battles while waiting to get some progress on the Family Brawler achievement.

wait 10 years and it’ll be 300k (relative to now), just look at the haunted memento xD

But the haunted memento got so expensive because very few people kept it. I think the accursed keepsake will have a hard time getting much value in the future.

On a side note I was able to get a haunted memento for 222k so pretty happy with the event :sweat_smile:
