Fun warlock "trick" against rogues

A lot of people may know it but for those who don’t: you can send a pet to attack a rogue that is far away and when the rogue goes in stealth the pet will follow him anyway. It is hilarious watching the rogue trying to run away in stealth and the pet going after him in terminator mode. Works amazing for example in Arathi Basin, you see a rogue 500 yards away, send a pet after him, gg. Probably works with hunters’ pets too

Because warlocks need to resort to tricks to win against any class.

But then the rogues far enough away to kill your demon, re stealth and attack you mid summon!

Rogue could use distract. Never done it my self though. A tip from youtube.

Wouldn’t the pet be in combat?

Don’t think so, you and your pet share the in combat state so you can sit and eat/drink right up until the point your pet swings. I’m not 100% sure though

The rogue can just use vanish, and the pet will return to the warlock.

Doesn’t work - pets are super squishy - the rogue will just kill it and vanish

You want to use a pet - catch him close to you in stealth and drop Inferno in him as you dot him up

this bug also affects hunter pets and its super bugged to be able to do this

If you find that funny you should just play a hunter and use Hunters Mark then watch as he tries to squirm around you while crying for dispel in /bg

It’s not a bug. There was even a hotfix a few months ago to correct an issue that caused pets to stop following if a rogue/druid stealthed after the attack command was issued.

But, Vanish purge Hunters Mark from rogue…

Says the class that is made out of tricks only to survive, the irony!

You know that when your sap and cheap shot both fail on a lock cause he already saw you, you’re done, death coil fear dot dot sb sb dead rogue always works for my lock even in raid spec.

That kinda was the point, a warlock just presses the old “win” button and it’s over.

Besides sl specs and if no succubus, you survive exactly 8 -10 secs.

My experiences are different unless they jump on me with together with a warrior but solo they’re just meh

If he is semi skilled and starts first, gg ,unless you are a sl warlock:))

What was your point exactly?

The part you omitted.

Was your point that Vanilla warlocks are very good in vanilla duels since always?
