Fusion Between Nek'Rosh and Stitches

I didn’t saw any recent subject about this. So here it is
Kind of obvious to the people in Nek’Rosh i guess but the player base in dropping more and more everyday. With SoD coming right around the corner. It will be soon almost impossible to go in dungeon (except if you are 60 in a big guilde).
For exemple today the player base was between 10-30, based on the level.
If we forgot bank level 1-2 and level 60 already. Let’s take the “high number” 30*57
So we got 1800 player on the server. With SoD, we should about at least half of the player base so 900 players. So you will barely 15 players on each level. Since you can a dungeon only once a day, while tank and heal are rare. You will just get lucky to do anything more than solo questing before 60.

Also i didn’t eliminate all the bot running around in the server. So the actual player base is currently smaller.

If we don’t get a fusion between the server, Nek’Rosh might just die on SoD release.

As expected.
My next guess was they offer a paid Character transfer

No thanks. We need 2 servers one for Streamers, and one for normel persons.
Nek’Rosh been stable the last 3 week now.
And your math’s way off Most people is 1-20 then drop rapidly and then amny again 60. I play all tine Nek’rosh, and all times group and dungeions pop.
You just re-roll Stitches next you die if you afraid.

As expected.

True, i wasn’t expecting to stay more than 1 month.

@Thalissa Don’t know what kind of stability you are talking about. The player base just dropped significantly in the last 3 weeks. If i take the French player base as a reference with guild members.
We went from 4 big guilds to just 2, while all the smaller guilds just died.
So from 40 members active on average over the day for the big one to 5-10 members for the smalls one. Where you could count easily more than 200 players.
Now it’s just down to 80, and i do except that number to drop for more than half.
While i was still able to do dungeon and quest with my guild. Whenever i go on an alt, i barely found anyone for a group/elite quest/dungeon.
And i do believe the population of the server do follow something similar, since the /world /lfg is almost not use anymore beside lvl 60.

Pretty sure on SoD, there will be no one around anymore.

Don’t know from where you have numbers, French players seem not to be standard. I check number every day I play; and numbers of players, and number of layers have been same on Nekrosjh for app. 3 weeks +/- 100 - which is not significant when go up and down.
I do not doubt all other Classic will be ghost town when SoD come … fro 3 weeks then most be back again.

Best exemple as you said is the layers, 3 weeks ago we had 5 layers.
Today we have only 3 most of the time, 2 in the morning.

In beginning we had 7 layers  Three weeks minus one day also we had 3 layers, been like this ever since, and same amount players. I think numbers stabilized now.
Also Stitches stabilizes on 5-6 layers now.
Starter zones as full and as many guildies dying to Porcine Entourage or Grek’nir or Lord Menelas as ever.

In the beginning we had 10 layers, i remember people begging for layer 10 as it was the only one where you could do the quest for the ring in SW, rest of layers were bugged
Starter zone can be full, but still above lvl 20 area are quite desert, i see more bots on the road than actual player

I take your word for this. I kept away from beginning, as I not like long queues. I chose Stitches first - and left for Nek’rosh. But remember seeing Forum posts of bugged Quest, where only first could do after reset until someone botched it.

All time I looked, Stitches 9 layers, then for long 7 then 5 now again 6-7 somtimes 8. I guess something happened in streamer-land to bloat numbers. Still have my toons on Stitches, go there only to look.
Nek’Rosh for me began 7 layers, for long 5, then slowly down to 3-4 where it is now for several weeks. More stable than Stitches also in number of players.

And one layer is still more than one Full Vanilla relam, so no reason to merge anything for long time yet.

There might also be some people like me, that take a break from all wow playing to really want to play when SoD release. People might be coming back between releases of next tier.

Just make a poll

Dictature of majority. No thanks.

And one layer is still more than one Full Vanilla realm

that’s true we have more player than before. But the HC thing change the way people go into the game a lot and interact with eachother. the fact that people die and are not able to do a dungeon more than once limit the amount of “danger” people goes into.
For Gnomeragan i hardly find anyone willing to go into it, because they already died to it once, are too scared, want a war tank 34+ with 1500hp whatever or already did the dungeon once. You end up with almost no one to do it.

Also the way people interact within the game is way different. Like giving your time to help out people was a big thing in previous version, but on HC feel like a loss of time most the time as when you help a guy on a hard quest and 5 min later you just see a the guy die to a boar.

A bit different from my play style. I do not dungeon, and I help out whatever. Only not killstealers.
I find enough for group quests at all levels I am in – altoholic me

By stability she refers to not lagging realms that stabilise with HC tourists leaving to WotLK, DF and SoD.

HC is a niche project and it’s population wouldn’t be huge on the long run anyway, because it is hard to keep playing flawless all the time and cope with a loss of fully geared top character to accident or griefer.

Without long lasting endgame, the engagement expectancy for every player making it to 60 is around 2 months at best after that they either quit because they can’t find hi end group to play with or because they got bored, balsy and got their character killed because of this.

Some may return to HC during SF mode addition patch, and Bluzzard could even add SoD content to HC if that would be sucessful, but only time will tell.

No, I refer to stability of player base, now tourists have left.
I think there is a “small” – small in “…” because only small compare to total WoW players or world pop – that think HC fun, that like the journey, that start over for 111 time again and again. That do not care for end game, that want try get all race/class combos to 60.
And I am not doubt that numbers will go lower than now, but I suspect not much .
Will of course dwindle with launch of SoD, but after SoD hype over, players return to HC.

fu-sion-ha !

Well as expected the number of player drops quite drastically. Between 20-59, there is only 20-0 players (on the high peak) depends on the level and a good part are hunter without guilds (mostlikely bots). Hope the trend will not go down from here and the server will get back on his knees because it became really hard to group or dungeon. In the morning there is just no one to play with.

Are those numbers Stitches … because Nek’Rosh has 50+ in all level brackets still.
And sytill nothanks to fusion!

Ha you must play on horde side. I’m speaking in ally side that’s why we couldn’t understand eachother !
