I will keep playing because I still like the game. But I really hope this mess leads to some major changes.
And tbh, this is an industry problem, not just a Blizzard problem. It may be a bigger problem at Blizzard, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist at other companies in the industry.
And if you’re gonna quit WoW, then you can’t watch movies, buy clothes and so on. Sexism, bad behaviour and mistreating people exists everywhere in our society.
I’m planning to remain subscribed.
I just recently renew my subscription, for another 6 months.
I think for me the time to play games is close to be over, as I lost any interest in exploring new games.
That’s why I’m sticking with WoW. I already know how to play it.
It’s basically chosing to live in a house you already know.
Hopefully an agreement will be reached between the employees and the company, after they remove the bad apples.
They will definitely launch a new expansion.
Maybe not in 2 years, but definitely in 3 or 4.
That being said, it seems Blizzard staff is becoming more known for bad statements, than good games, lately.
If people want content, that means they are still interested in playing the game.
A simple statement explaining that people needed to wait a bit longer would be enough.
Maybe tell them that the expansion will last 3 years instead of 2 and that they will receive content in that time.
There was no need for that Twitch comment.
It doesn’t bother me, as I don’t have SL, nor I have intentions to purchase it.
I lost any desire to see any more new content in WoW after BFA.
For me they can take 10 years to launch more content as I don’t need it to enjoy what I already have.
Cheers.

Atm I am alternating between WoW and ESO. When the next DLC for ESO is out, I’ll switch back to that for a bit. I’ll probably always come back to WoW.
I like shadowlands but outside of pvp/raiding and m+
there is literally no interesting content in game where you can progress your character
or anything you can do for fun
I’m most likely quitting. Haven’t logged in since the news broke. Not that it was just that, just another drop in the bucket.
BFA was me playing but not not liking the expansion for the most part. Shadowlands I enjoy even less.
There’s just too much of Blizzard’s hand in controlling the way we play and in turn the game feels more like a chore/job than something I’m really enjoying. 9.1 showed more of the same and I don’t see it improving this expansion at all.
I would have paused my playing earlier but that feeling came a few days after my 6 month sub renewed. So I stayed longer, giving 9.1 a chance. I will not renew in early september.
I’ll probably log in to do the raid once in LFR, maybe finish the story in Korthia but I doubt it (that whole cutting it in small pieces left a sour taste).
All in all the whole abuse story has put a taint on Blizzard for me and hate to say it but the game gives me a bit of disgust when I think of it atm.

This will never happen and you know why?
because the money rule the world
People having their cash in wow will demand to put work into the cash cow wow is right now
Blizzard don’t have any game producing that much money like wow is doing
so why would they release new expansion in 3 or 4 years when the work on new expansion already started before they released shadowlands
you will see 9.2 patch delayed and maybe 9.3 patch cut out
don’t expect that game will change rapidly because of this internal situation in blizzard
How game looks and it’s designed right now has nothing to do with a sexual harrasment.
Still playing TBC. Got 3 chars.
Enjoying it.
Plenty to do for a filthy casual like me

I’m at a crossroads, I have played wow since the start and had a couple of breaks during wod and bfa. Shadowlands for me has been a dissapointment, bad class balancing, boring world content, Torghast is being forced upon you and just tons and tons of weekly chores to not fall behind.
The only thing I think they did well was the raiding. But I have only seen that from the sidelines with the race to world first.
This whole lawsuit and everything around it all makes me see clearly that Blizzard doesn’t take any of this serious. Just look at their statement regarding it, even that is half-a$$ed.
It makes sence why the game is in such a bad state with half-developed systems and bad game design when you hear about people sit and play video games during their workday and delegating their responsibles elsewhere and walk around drunk and hungover.
I know I wouldn’t be able to do my work properly and clearly they don’t.

I’ll finish the campaign of 9.1 then go on a break. Nothing to do with the scandal, just content and gameplay issues. So few of the guild has returned since after CN break that we’re not raiding, so little reason for me to remain subbed.

If the game changes and has less boring chores, more creative content I’ll stay for a while. As It looks right now I am leaving for something else. The core of WoW died a long time ago. As revealed in the law suite, blizz even released shadowland knowing that the game was not finished lol.
I’m still playing, grinding renown and leveling alts.
WoW is still the best MMORPG out there. I’ve seen streams of FFIV or New World and they look horrible.

I’m still playing and playing games on the side.
This being said, if next expansion is built following legion framework, ie featuring expansions systems, then I’ll be prompt not to purchase next expansion, because that would mean Blizzard has not leanrt a damn thing.
I will keep playing because, yeah, WoW has its problems but the other games are just worse.
I can’t keep playing a game more than like 2 days without getting bored to death.
I don’t get that with WoW.

Im going to keep playing both Retail and Classic.
I love the game, and I love my friends here.
I am semi liking the SL expansion, but it’s to a degree where I will only be doing low keys and just the quests. Tbh I am thinking about spending my time questing old content and collect stuff, while waiting on the next expansion.
As to the lawsuit, I really feel for all the people who’s affected, and hope a LOT for a change in leadership on various levels. I hope they get what they fight for, without any risk of their jobs.
Also I think that we should all respect each other’s point of view in how to support (quitting/staying) without judging or shaming.
WoW has been my for a lack of a better description “safe space” for a really long time now (dont quote me with the South Park song). However after the past few days it makes me feel a little odd being ingame.
I still want to play and I still enjoy playing (though less due to various SL reasons) and I don’t intend to quit but its just different.
Was going to say I hope things go back to normal but that would be a mistake, so instead it’ll be I hope things will be improving soon for both us and Blizzard.

I’m on the same boat i’m basically waiting for blizzard to show us what is gonna be new expansion about (not STORY) and when i see the same thing as a covenants or something similar i’m not gonna buy it this time around
I will just go and play MOP on some private server and just do some different games.
Still playing, but only for my guild at this point. The question now is whether they are capable of the root and branch rebuild wow requires and of putting in the required time and effort to accomplish that, or whether pleasing the shareholders by ensuring there is a boxed release next year come hell or high water is more important.
I am currently subbed to both FF14 and WoW.
I have also had a chat with my friends and we are not yet decided where we will go (or if we will stay). I feel like I shouldn’t be supporting this company any more and have uninstalled all other Blizzard games from my PC.
Both subs run out around the same time and I will only be keeping one of them going. Time will tell and more lengthy discussions to be had with my friends before I can make that decision, but I’m going to need to see some massive positive changes within Blizzard to persuade me to not jump ship. Some of what I have seen makes me actually feel sick to continue supporting them with my hard earned money.
I will keep playing WoW for now. I’d rather stick around in the game and just play it. The many good people that worked on this, vastly outweigh the rotten apples.

I’ll continue playing as I have a lot to do it, collecting and going through old content being a BFA baby. And I’ve been enjoying Shadowlands, sure some things could still be improved on but nothing has been a deal breaker for me.
I don’t mind that the development has halted, I do want them to take their time to sort things out proper and then hopefully, be all reinvigorated to tackle WoW.
