Game breaks

Hello,

Just done playing wow for a while and been surfing while my battlenet app was active.

Suddenly I get a pop-up asking me to allow an update of world of warcraft (that is UP- to -DATE) than it tries to install it and fails.
Getting an error ‘Woops! Looks like something broke. give it another shot’.

Even when I try it again same thing happens also when I run the repair tool. This happend previous week aswell and all I could do to resolve it was a clean re-install now it happens again! What for update is being forced that breaks my game?

Hey Aboriginal,

Typically this error will be accompanied by an error code that you can search on the support site for more specific info and troubleshooting. A pretty common one would be BLZBNTAGT00000BB8 and the steps there should be a good start.

Another common cause would be wowvoiceproxy.exe still running in the background and preventing the update. Check out this thread for more info.
