im gonna buy anyways, got deal for 1 year slight used 180€ for msi gtx 1060 x 6gb. my r9 has been used for mining before, some days ago black spikes started juming out from my character, and some other times water is also turned black, only game r estard helps. and coil whine and fans are so loud and temps get high… upgrade wouldnt hurt. good to raid mythic with high settings

Not for me with AMD cards

Gonna give it a shot, in few mins will be home from work

Nope; still not working :frowning:

Glad to see that the solution worked for you. Still it is Blizzards fault not ours. I have a GTX 1060 6GB and i am forced to play WoW with the DX11 API. Plus my fps in Boralus tonight was ~10 fps lower than last night. So much for the performance improvements 8.1 would bring…

Regarding your card, you say that the fans are loud and temps high. Have you tried checking the fan? Maybe dust and other stuff is preventing it from operating normally. And what about air circulation inside your case? Is everything working properly like case fans etc… ?

I think i found what is causing this issue. People with AMD GPU’s can you please take a look what Direct3D Version it’s shown on AMD app?

I cannot enter the settings menu the game freezes but only on that button , so anything that is video sound or other options included in that menu is not accessible , any ideas?

9.14.10.01363 is the latest, of course this didn’t change for people overnight :).

HOW TO LOGGIN (sort off)
Since blizzard is so slow at fixing stuff (is this Vanilla ??) - Once I hit play and my game is the facking black screen again, I alt-tab and browse stuff. 2-3 mins later I click on the game icon and wait, after a while it is logging. Try it, if it works, play, otherwise wait 10 days for blizzard proper response like uninstall security programs or just you are the problem kind of stuff.

I think so, the uninstalling a working security application is too risky to do, and a bad idea for a PC with internet-connection.

i have this same problem

So no official statement about these problems from blizz?

After trying everything Blizzard suggests (through forums and chat with GMs) i should do to fix this problem nothing actually worked. The problem is that they kinda ignore me to this point and dont give us a clear answer about what is the real problem after the launch of the patch. I just hope they dont just ignore it and actually try to fix it cause the customer support doesnt seem to be able to do something about it.
